I hope this fight happens. It would be a good matchup and a big fight ifor both in terms of attendance and prestige if they held the fight at Wembley Stadium.

Froch, past prime or not is a world class fighter with very durable chin and his reach is longer by 13 freaking cm-s than Golovkin's! So Golovkin would probably be forced to get inside where he isn't that good and Froch's power is also no joke. Could Golovkin stay with his usual strategy and hunt him down from the pocket with set up heavy combinations or Froch can gain momentum instead because he's more rangier and also with power + durable chin. And add the fact that maybe out of the first Kessler fight Froch had problem with fast opponents with speed and good positioning such as Dirrell, Ward or Groves on their first fights. Now, the situation is these aren't Golovkin's most advanced assets, his offence is great but also pretty linear, he doesn't use many angles and doesn't rough up guys on the inside like Ward did with Froch and he also not so fast as Andre Dirrell was. He has other big advantages.
So: Momentum and power are on Golovkin's side, range and size are on Froch's. The big question is who's will will be stronger.

      It's a very-very interesting fight, I would love it.
I really can't see Froch outboxing Golovkin like he did to Abraham. They're going to trade punches, it almost always comes down to trading shots in Froch fights.

Then it becomes a question of who lands the harder punches and who displays the better chin. Could be either guy, which makes the fight so intriguing but my money would be on Golovkin.

That HeroBando guy would have made a great propagandist.

Froch has always been interested in Golovkin but he's not gonna waste his time for peanuts. If HBO can put up the money, then lets do it.

I didn't exactly think of classical "outboxing" but Froch usually doesn't get reckless early on when his opponent are heavy punchers.
With that said, I can see what you wrote. It can be easily a firefight though I think more likely just later on not in the first half of the fight (assuming neither of them KO the other in the first half).

How can you go from "I'm gonna retire" to let's fight golovkin ?

Because he saw Monroe hit him?

He went from "stay away from ggg , he punches like a mule" to "he's too small"

            Him and Hearn want attention

It's hilarious people think they are serious but expected

Watch them come out with "there wasn't enough money in the fight"
Try reading or listening fully. Froch has always.....ALWAYS maintained that he'd fight Golovkin on HBO PPV.

What the *** would they need "attention" for exactly? Froch is an international superstar who knocked out George Groves in front of 80,000 people at Wembley Stadium.

Yep. That's how Donaire beat Rigondeaux so easily - his vastly superior resume! Donaire won what, every round?

That's down to HBO but don't act like Froch/Hearn haven't said this from day one. They have been very consistent.
