I agree. Before that he was hinting he'd fight DeGale, then he rules out the DeGale fight.
I think he watched the Monroe fight, felt that Golovkin looked vulnerable and thought "I'll have a bit of that".
Surprised Hearn saying it will fill Wembley, I wouldn't have thought it was a Wembley fight but then say if he puts Groves-DeGale II on the undercard, or another big fight then maybe it is.
My thoughts exactly Weebler. This could be Golovkin's and Froch's first Las Vegas appearance - satisfying for both. Also if GGG was really carrying Monroe then Froch would be in for a nasty surprise.
Whats the name of that bad ass guy in your sig - isn't he the new Russian light heavyweight sensation or is he a cruiserweight?
He did until he fought Geale and Murray, those were two solid MW's. He made it look easy, that's how good he is. He went back to feasting on bums against Monroe though.
Now critics are jumping on Golovkin because they think seen flaws vs Monroe, suddenly Froch is interested. I'm hoping it happens.
Well Golovkin would be in serious danger if he let Froch tab him like Monroe did. My guess is he would fight at range. He is pressure fighter counter puncher at middle-weight but I think he'd need to box more against Froch, make him miss as he lunges in.

Hearn seems to want it at Wembley but I'd say you're right in that Froch would prefer it in Las Vegas but then PPV money is in the UK so that's probably where it ends up.
I've always picked Golovkin by stoppage in this match-up, imo Froch is too easy to hit. He has a good chance though if he can take the power.
