No one gives a toss about Lara. If people did give a toss, they'd be begging for a Mayweather-Lara fight, since they're both such great boxers, are promoted (or should I say "advised") by the same team, and just so happen to be in around the same weight class.
I'd give Golovkin more props for fighting Lee than Lara.

1. bring in a large ethnic fanbase, in the US at least.
2. beat an established star on PPV
Froch would get the lions share of the UK money, don't worry. He gets a chance for global spotlight he craves, against the most hyped guy in boxing, who is unproven and smaller and willing to fight him in the UK. What's not to like? The likely beatdown?
What's not to like? I'm guessing getting paid half of what you made against George Groves has something to do with it.
Get your boy to pull his ***ing weight and get the fight on HBO PPV, then we'll see what happens when he tries to stick his face out unprotected in front of a real fighter.

You dont get it, Lara needs GGG, not the other way around. If Lara wanted to fight GGG, then Haymon himself should make contact with an offer. Everyone seems to expect K2 to go around sending everyone offers, but does not expect the others to do the same for them.

No one gives a toss about Lara. Sure. But Willie Jr was a rockstar

We already know HBO and PBC aren't working together, surely HBO and Loeffler have discussed this.
And we know that Loeffler loves to shout from the rooftops about offering this guy and that guy a fight. Not even a peep about any Lara discussions. Funny that.

And so does deCubas! He's constantly calling out names. He even blatantly translates his fighters spanish incorrectly on camera to make it seem like his fighters are talking **** even when they aren't, the guy is so full of ****. I wouldn't doubt for one second he has zero intention of having Lara go up and fight Golovkin.

Make an offer and we'll see if Lara or his manager are serious.

Lara would be by far and away the best opponent Golovkin has ever faced.

I imagine Lee is next, Lemieux/N'Dam winner after that. Canelo and Ward in 2016.

GGG in the UK is probably the best risk/reward for Froch, cause he's
1. smaller
2. far less proven
3. willing to fight Froch in the UK
4. a fight of global interest
5. would take a smaller cut than most of his stature
6. hottest name in boxing, lots of p4p and legacy points for Froch. If he somehow won, he'd be the toast of the boxing world
