They would categorize all those guys the same as the guys Golovkin is beating right now. You say my post was dumb, yet you haven't said any good points at all. You are just sounding like a big as hater, you want GGG to move up because you think someone up there is going to beat him. You just want GGG to move up for no freaking reason. There is so many fights at 160 for GGG to take: Canelo, Cotto, Lemieux, Lee, N'Dam, Jacobs, Quillen. Let GGG clean up 160 and in the mean time those guys can fight each other to build their resume and become bigger names.

As long as Cotto is at Middleweight and he holds a Middleweight belt, he's fair game. If Cotto doesn't want Golovkin then he should move down. You say you were a GGG fan, but you sound more like a hater.
    Golovkin haters are freaking hilarious!!
I'm not hating, I want competition. Who in their right mind thinks Cotto beats GGG seriously? No one, I don't care if Cotto gives up the belt or not it's a mismatch. GGG/Canelo is a mismatch...

If GGG fights the same level of fighter at 168 as he does at 160, he'd still get more credit because it's a DIVISION HIGHER. They WILL handle is power better, they WILL throw stronger punches, the WILL push GGG more. As a fan that's what I want, not a ****ing mismatches like we've been getting.

I'm a Miami fan, I'd rather they play the Ravens, Pats and Broncos more than the ****ing Redskins, Bucs and Browns because they are tough games. Even if they lose at least I know how good they are, beating up on **** or smaller guys doesn't do **** for me. It might satisfy some of the clowns on here who watch boxing for violence, I watch for the art and sweet science of it.

Tyson running through guys, I could care less he wasn't a great fighter. GGG running through guys, he could be great he's proved at MW. Now, he can move up in weight. Tyson couldn't do that but he stepped up competition. Instead you GGG fans look for reasons for him to AVOID challenging himself and then proclaim he's the baddest man on the planet. I say the same thing, he is the baddest man on the planet but I want him to prove it, not just run his mouth. A win over any SMW is better than a win over Cotto, period the end. Even if Cotto is the best fighter he's faced and Cotto would be, the size makes it a mismatch.

So it's not hate, it's wanting a guy to test himself not pick on smaller guys and then have his fans make excuse after excuse for it. I give Canelo **** for making JMW's fight at MW, even by a pound. I'm not a stan, I don't play both sides of the ****ing fence. Don't make a guy from JMW move up to face you, especially AFTER you beat every MW out there. What the ****? Cotto might be fighting leftovers at a CW, he's not fighting left overs, in a division lower and making them move up. GGG can move up, make money, albeit not as much but earn my respect.

He doesn't do that, he wants money and I get that. But so do Cotto, Canelo and every other fighter out there. I'm hearing he can't do Ward because Ward isn't a PPV fighter. Neither is GGG, he needs Canelo and Cotto because they ARE PPV fighters, without them GGG won't get paid. GGG isn't a PPV fighter though, so why do Canelo and Cotto want to fight him?

      I never said he did.

Personally, I gave the nod to Canelo, but it was a toss up (boring as fuck, but still).

I dislike Lara very much, I really do, but the fact is, he was a decorated amateur and arguably beat Paul Williams and Canelo in pros.

For the record, I want this fight to happen not because Lara would be the best hame on Golovkin's resume, I want this fight to happen because I want GGG to knock Lara the fuck out and show him what boxing really is about ("hit and don't get hit", not just "don't get hit").

In not so many words, I want Golovkin to get rid of Lara once and for all.

        Say again? I'm reaching how?

        Those are his quoted words.

Did Rosado have to move up to 160 for them to "consider" him an opponent?

So like a typical GGG fan, you want to see a KO and don't care about the quality of the fight at all as long as your guy is getting a KO. If he isn't getting a KO there is no point in GGG fighting them then.

lol can't win anyway. People say GGG needs to fight Lara, they talk about possibly fighting Lara and now it's GGG is picking on smaller fighters. Make up your minds.

The no money bums like Lara need to earn a fight with GGG. Why in gods name would GGG arbitrarily make Lara a priority, a fighter with no fans, a fighter at a weight division below him, a fight no one is asking for?

GGG has been trying to fight all the best fighters in his weight division. Yet, somehow he's at fault for not fighting Lara or Ward, two fighters that don't bring any money, and are not even in his weight division? It's just a dumb argument.

Just sounds like a lot of fans sour that GGG is stealing all the thunder. He's too good for his own sake.

If Lara wants the fight, he can always force the issue. No one is stopping him from going to 160 and becoming a mando. Seems crazy that Lara thinks he's big enough to dictate anything.

Anyway, I don't think anyone smaller than GGG has any possible chance at beating him. GGG would KO him like the rest.

But at what price? They will probably ask for millions. Trust me, the fight will not happen. It is all a gimmick.

Man you are one salty ass rican. Tell your boy to vacate and move down if he don't wanna fight GGG. Hagler did not get any **** for fighting Duran who started fighting as a bantamweight and Duran was not even the lineal champ. GGG should not get any **** for wanting to challenge the lineal champ. I do not see you talking this same up **** for Andre Ward and other fighters. Smh

Uh no, it's one of the best fights that can be made in boxing. It would be an awesome fight. FOTY potential.

I'm hearing he can't do Ward because Ward isn't a PPV fighter.
Leoffer was saying that Ward would ask for so much money, and Golovkin would also want a lot of money, that if they fight each other it would probably have to be on PPV, which isn't likely at this point in time. That's all he was saying. Ward is getting over $2 million for tune up fights, so he'll certainly want a lot more to fight a good name opponent like GGG. GGG just made $1.5m fighting Monroe, so he'd need a pay increase as well. You're looking at minimum a $4m dollar purse, not including undercard, site fees, etc., which HBO probably wouldn't want to spend on a single fight. I could be wrong, but that's what Leoffer was saying. He wasn't saying "we don't fight Ward because he's not a PPV fighter!" or any nonsense like that.
