If you're signed with someone, you a tool who doesn't have control over their career. If you have control over your career and want to choose what makes the most money you're a diva.

So all Cotto says is no one is going to boss me around and he's the diva. You have Canelo though demanding dates thinking he's the boss even though Oscar controls every aspect of his career. Noting to see here, we'll continue hearing Canelo speak Cotto's name then leave scared when it comes time to sign name to paper just like last time.

Miguel Cotto can fight JWW's if he wants and you will all still tune into to watch Miguel Cotto be Miguel Cotto in NY, where he became Miguel Cotto. And one more thing, Miguel Cotto.

I guess he could fight GGG, but why take on just as dangerous a fight (if not more) against GGG for half the money that a Canelo bout would bring?

Cotto vs Canelo at Cowboys Stadium September 12th has a good ring too it.
Cotto picks the judges and gets a 55/45 split for agreeing to fight on Canelo's date and turf. The fight will put 60,000 fans in the stans, and sell about 1 million PPV's.
55/45 & the fight is in texas & the date canelo wants? 55/45???

All this hate because Cotto basically just **** on every thread saying he was forced to fight Canelo next, sad.

Canelo is just pricing himself out and then blaming it on Cotto. All the while campaigning at MW and openly stating he won't fight GGG for at least 2 years. Hell it'll probably be two years before Canelo even fights any MW.

          Cotto da diva doe lol.

55/45 Cotto can pick the judges.
And lets be real the september date benefits Cotto too since it is a date that generates PPV buys.
Lets not act like Canelo doesn't draw fans now, and like he deserves 65-35 or something crazy like that. 55-45 in Cotto's favor is pretty good.

Never thought I'd say this but...Cotto should avoid Canelo. A lot of the damage Cotto has suffered is psychological. He's not ready for that. He's definitely better than Kirkland but Lara would probably beat him pretty bad. Lara is a better Trout. Anyway, he sounds okay with taking these easy fights and making decent money. The Canelo fight would make him 10 million. Wouldn't that be one of, if not THE biggest purse of his career? Anyway, Cotto just isn't there mentally. Some will see this as just bashing, and I'm not. Cotto deserves to make any decision he wants for his career. He can fight whoever he wants. We definitely know who he DOESNT want to fight.

Cotto was the one who didn't sign. He's ducking. I know it's hard to accept. But it's the truth.

Cotto would sooner fight in Vegas than Texas. Doubt that happens. Same with 9/12.
