Cotto earned his stripes. He understands the hard road and so Cotto will not be taking marching orders at this stage in his career from a 23 year old trying to act like a legend in the game.

      Nah.

      A side.

Well Cotto is setting the stage if he wins on June 6. He is just making clear that the terms will remain the same.

What do u expect just like Chavez when he got beatup by little Sweapea Whitaker. Chavez never even wanted a rematch!!!
Making excuses for the fighter who is stalling fights everybody want to see? What kind of boxing fan are you?

Cotto can fight Salka for all I care. He just shouldn't hold on to the belt if he does.

Hopefully Geale can simplify the situation for us and send Cotto straight to the hall of fame where he belongs. When you are as big as Cotto you shouldn't dirty your hands with actually fighting the best, right? So let Cotto be beaten by someone below the best, and he can use his arrogance for his memoirs.

He will be wishing he signed with Haymon Protection Agency instead, at least then he could fight on Spike.
yup Solo Boxeo Tecate Saturdays at 11. HBO wont do nothing because there is no contract. Cotto will fight canelo on hbo but not when either of them want.

Canelo's already started the diva crap with this September 12th or else nonsense. Nothing suggests Cotto needs to bow down. That would be being a diva.

                    Cotto is right.
He doesn't have to do anything Canelo says. But at the same time what other big fight is out there for him? GGG?
I guess he could fight GGG, but why take on just as dangerous a fight (if not more) against GGG for half the money that a Canelo bout would bring?

Cotto vs Canelo at Cowboys Stadium September 12th has a good ring too it.
Cotto picks the judges and gets a 55/45 split for agreeing to fight on Canelo's date and turf. The fight will put 60,000 fans in the stans, and sell about 1 million PPV's.

How hard is it understand that he (Cotto) was waiting for Mayweather to decide (more $$$$) to then fight Canelo (Less $$$$)
