These aren't the old school days, get a fighter to fight 3 times a year in itself is a huge task.

Here we go again... i like Canelo but he needs to realise he's not a PPV star but a PPV fighter like Floyd and Manny were before beating Oscar.

He had his chance to be against Mayweather and lost. Gotta wait until he retires and/or beat guys like Cotto and Golovkin to be the PPV star imo.

Huge Canelo supporter but this bugs me. He is developing a huge ego and this is feeding into it. self-entitlement. Floyd whitewashed him, have respect cause his time is very soon. Both Floyd and Manny will be gone shortly and youre right he is the one to follow but not yet. But whatever i will watch both. My cave now has a 3 TV set up so im good.

Cotto will not fight him in Sept. so who will he get. Clottey....

I don't blame him, I really do want to him do that date. He is his own man and he needs to start pushing those days at the moment. Mayweather is on his way out whilst Canelo is coming up.

He only does it to try to get some sort of moral victory over Floyd because he can't beat him in the ring.

It's Oscar who doesn't forget what Haymon and Schaefer did to him.

Everyone on this forum knew that Canelo/Oscar had no option but to withdraw from 2 May if MayPac got made coz that's what everyone would buy...Canelo never made an azz of himself. He KTFO'd Kirkland in front of 30,000+ fans & made both May+Pac/fight of the century (LOL) look even more crappy than it was.

As long as Canelo has a good opponent, he's not making an azz outta himself.

Yep. I think he will fight on that date regardless and it doesn't even have to be a PPV. If it's not Cotto then he can fight a exciting fighter that he can beat like Kirkland and possibly put Matthysse on the undercard for a title fight and it will do very well. I think that's what Oscar does.
