Not self entitled..he's young + very exciting to watch. He's asking for what he deserves, can't think of anyone else right now who can come close to filling in the shoes of Floyd/Manny when they retire.

he chose not to fight on that day because he said only if it was pac/Floyd he would, hbo wasn't going to do two ppv's in one day,but now it's different, the fans will choose who they want to see, canelo already fought on the same night a big fight was on ppv with Chavez/Martinez and a lot of people went to the canelo fight,he has a large fan base,he should fight on that date and see how mayweather does, unless mayweather fights cotto which is totally unnecessary I can see canelo having trouble with ppv unless it's someone good and a good undercard,i don't think canelo is that good of a fighter but I like watching his fights,i'll get his ppv and I know a lot of people will buy his fight, that will take a lot of ppv buys from mayweather's ppv

We all knew he would fall back if Pac May was gonna get done for that date. This time around though is different. Floyd has nobody to fight and not that many people even wanna see him fight again. His next fight will not be a major priority for fans to watch.

I have no complaint with him wanting the date, and if he wants to stake it out early, good for him.

Just don't bring a weak fight.

meh, what happened to the old school days of fighter fighting 5 or 6 times per year? Cotto Canelo in sept is doable, as long as Cotto doesn't have too much of a tough time against Geale.

this idiot just keeps sticking his foot in his mouth and don't understand that money talks and his BS walks. he can fight on september 12th. nobody is stopping him. but he has a $10 dollar fanbase compared to mayweather's high rollers vegas fanbase. so he better book in texas again.
