Floyd fans don't see their hero is fading. Noone was interested in whom Floyd was fighting unless he faced Pacquiao. Then most people got excited and had their hopes up for an exciting fight, but were sorely disappointed in how uneventful the fight turned out to be.

Floyd fans don't get that many people will not blame Pacquiao for not being able to force Floyd to fight. They will see through that and put the blame where it belongs, which is on Floyd.

Even if this is Floyd's farewell fight, it will be another forgettable fight. I would be surprised if his PPV numbers are large. I think Canelo can start dictating his own terms.

Cotto vs Canelo in September

Canelo/Cotto would outsell Mayweather vs B-tier Haymon guy, but the problem is Miguel isn't going to fight that quickly after fighting in June, even if he somehow gets Geale out of there early. We know Cotto likes to take his time, soak up all the attention he can etc. I don't think Cotto will fight until November or December! As much as I want to see Canelo/Cotto, I just don't know how you plan around Cotto's diva behavior. Guess Canelo will just have to whoop Clottey in September.
