    This ^^

Just like in basketball. When a player makes a steal and makes a break for it, the fans want to see him slam dunk the ball. Not lay it up despite there being no defenders to stop him.

There is a difference between hitting and tackling, the guys you listed use their shoulders and hit, which means they get run over by bigger men.

NFL has devalued tackling because no on wraps up anymore, wrapping u doesn't get you on highlight reels even if you stop a big play. If you lay someone out or get trucked, you got a highlight~

Either you prefer style over substance, or substance over style.

The first makes you a follower, the second makes you a leader.

why is HBO dead set on seperation in the boxing community?????? its a ****** idea and very illogical as there are different styles in the sport and all should be appreciated even if one isnt your cup of tea, now they are saying canelo saved boxing and floyd is destroying it when the sport has endured the styles of both fighters since its inception. they even tried to get canelo to play into this BS in his post fight interview with kellerman!!! HBO is played out and are horrible with this politics madness.

Imagine the NFL network devaluing tackling or NBA TV devaluing shooting and dribbling?

Guess this was expected once Floyd easily beat Manny.
How would the ratings of an NFL team do if the qb threw it away every time the play broke down, wrs slid to the ground every play before getting hit and rbs ran out of bounds rather than Try and truck a defender. Every single play. Can you imagine?

Would fans say they smart doe? Why take a hit no point. No one wants to see that shiet and players that do get called sissies weekly. Boxing is no different. We want to be entertained. With high caliber violence

No he's devaluing skill. There is a difference between a hard hitter and a proper tackler.

HBO boxing is fighting to survive, they're marketing themselves on action fights.

                  Lampley is just a shill.

So if Vazquez were to headline a $100 PPV, we'd get Gruber, PBP, Dunn, Fetta, Tom Cruise and Dazed buying it to appreciate them skillz.
