Point well made. None are great. None are satisfying. All fight like cowards. Lamply speaks the truth!

Klits can get a pass IMO. Not the most pleaseing but he does KO his opponent

And Mayweather was on his Gatti list after the Cotto fight.

Since the schooling all have been on this "fans want excitement" trip. Yes i agree with that but now everything is about KO's and celebrating Canelo over Kirkland like he was some beast is getting sad. Pushing GGG cause hes fighting some guy named Monroe and more than likely will KO him like hes also some beast. I have no issue with it. Im all for KO and will watch fights no matter what but they are devaluing the skill level of this sport by doing this. But hey mentality changed after Floyd schooled Pac

And the Canelo fight got huge ratings cause of the Floyd/Pac lead in. But in all its good for boxing and im a huge Canelo fan so hell yeah. Its great marketing.

oh oh but Wilder is a joke.

im sorry but im tired of the way hbo sells boxing. i for one enjoy all types of boxing i love the chess like strategy and how every fight and style is different i love it all and this whole only brawlers are entertaining or that boxers are scared fighters is honestly an insult to boxing fans intelligence and imo has destroyed the sport. its no longer about whos the best its about whos willing to leave on a stretcher and give up his long term health to try n win. Am i the only one left who appreciates all different styles of boxing matches?

                    Good post.

HBO/Herschman have figured out it is more profitable to put on lower caliber fighters in low skilled, violent action fights or give their big names easy wins over opponents who have shown an ability to "look good while losing".

These fighters fight for much lower purses and will take the same low payment each time they are on.

Reading the comments, there is a large group of fans that like this so it is not likely to change.

HBO is hilarious. They are still #1 in the boxing game despite Showtime's failed attempt to overtake them & PBC's assumed soon to be attempt to do so, but still the biggest boxing haters at the same time.
