Would fans say they smart doe? Why take a hit no point. No one wants to see that shiet and players that do get called sissies weekly. Boxing is no different. We want to be entertained. With high caliber violence
The NFL has focused on safety the last 2 years and ratings haven't dropped at all. If the qb's throw it away every paly, how will the other things happen? perrhaps you should make a real point and not over exaggerate.

You want to be entertained with high caliber violence, ok. Is that what Canelo v Kirkland was?

HBO Boxing has really fallen off. I don't know if it began with the minimizing of Larry (I like Max though) but something, maybe behind the scenes, is off. They're so behind the times it's alarming.

It was standard HBO-give a guy a easy fight to make him look good. The problem is HBO is giving us this too much with their headline guys and also giving "good losers" more opportunities than they do winners.

I dont know what you people are so pissed about, i'm as a hardcore boxing fan as it gets (i'll watch any boxing), but you cant deny those guys are generally in **** fights I can barely sit through.

Wlad's fights where he holds every other second are unwatchable. Same with when Rigo stands there and poses for 2 min of each round. Vasquez style is also unwatchable and shouldnt be on TV ever.

Floyd and Lara can also be incredibly boring but i find their styles polished enough.

Oversimplification at its finest. I tend to value skill over power/athleticism in boxing.

There comes a time when you can't KO the guy in front of you. Are fighters prepared for that time?

And you probably can't tell the difference between an action fight between Kirkland and Vera versus an action fight between GGG and Canelo.
