Maybe Maidana stops running from Thurman. That's a great fight there

Floyd will fight Anthony Mundine next. He wants a solid competitor who has a country behind him. It increases his fan base for the Pac rematch on May 5th 2016.

connect a different set of dots and you will arrive at . . . . Mayweather v Cotto II

It will either be Khan or Danny

both have a higher profile than Thurmann
            Khan would be OK...
            ... Thurman also...
(Danny has no guts for this one...)

Meh, I actually think Khan will be competitive before he gets stopped.

Khan is rangy, fast and has a good jab to set up some lightning combinations. He undoubtedly has the right tool set to win/steal some rounds.

It would be a dream fight for us boxing fans but no so much for the casual fans because Thurman is an unknown with no fan base or loyal following. It would be a tough sell and who want to buy tickets for this fight anyway? Al Haymon typically doesn't match Floyd with American fighters in the first place. He likes to match him up with fighters from other countries.

Mayweather has proven his point. This is a farewell fight and I expect the opponent to reflect that.

... Floyd doesn't leave the show as easy as some would like to.
