Hatton's footspeed cause Floyd some serious problems in that. All respect goes to Hatton.

True. Mayweather was hurt twice versus Pacquiao.

Pacquiao was never hurt or wobbled.

Did you see my comments about Hatton? He got KO'd in part because he went out on his shield. he never stopped trying to win despite being hopelessly over matched IMO. Did Manny do that? NO.

Had Manny fought with his usual style, he may not have made it out of the 5th or 6th round. Maybe he may have caught Floyd and KHTFO. At least we'd have gotten a clean finish. When does the boxing fan in you show outrage for this?

I am old enough that the 1st fight I remember vividly is John Tate v Mike Weaver. I watched Weaver take 14 rounds of ass whopping and then he landed the one hitta quitta and won. That's all I am asking for. Manny didn't even do that.

If you are fine with Manny's performance then You and I obviously have a completely different expectation for what I expected from this fight.

How are you not pissed off that Manny never fought the way he always had and tried to win?
I understand your feeling behind it, I wanted more from Manny too. But I don't get the anger emotion about it. This was to be expected, I fell for the Manny hype train the last week and thought it would be a closer fight and more exciting. However, my initial thoughts were how can Manny possibly do better against a much, much better and much bigger version of Marquez? Before I got caught up, I expected exactly this fight to be honest.

I get your sentiments of wanting a better fight and while not mad, it truly was sad seeing Manny be exposed for what he is now. An old gun shy warrior who's seen his better days. And that's really what I took out of this fight. Floyd didn't impress me he looked beatable but I don't think it was because Manny wasn't trying. The end of Shane's career comes to mind on what Manny looked liked, not a lack of effort.

Hatton put up a better fight than Pac
Floyd certainly wasn't willing to even entertain being near manny for a brief moment unlike with Ricky. He knew he could handle Ricky at 147. Ricky is 1 of 2 Floyd Ko'd in over 10 years!! lol

Yup Mayweather was doing just enough to bank rounds and Pacquiao didn't do enough.

Manny's style has been different since he got KO'd by Marquez, he boxes more now. He's older and was possibly injured too, and didn't have the same energy in the championship rounds. Can't stay prime forever.
you couldn't be more wrong. You know I have never thought Manny was ever on Floyd's level. we got closure. As a Floyd fan and someone who needles pac fan, the ending was definitive and I got some material for the trolls.

As a boxing fan, which I have been longer than most on NSB, I am disgusted with Manny and you should be too. That was not the performance you expect from a guy many of us consider one of the 50 or so greatest to ever fight. He never tried to win. that is why I am angry.

By never trying to win Manny robbed the sport of its ability to show the sports world that hand to hand combat is the definitive measure of a man.

The biggest selling point of this fight was how could a great defensive boxer stand up to an all out onslaught from a fast, powerful, motivated, disrespected, champion. The sport and the real fans deserved Manny going for broke.

He wouldn't and the sport is being punished by mainstream fans because of it.

The question isn't why am I bitter, the question is why aren't you along with me?

Yep you can't be mad at manny and not be mad at Floyd at the same time Floyd and his camp were talking about a knock out before the fight but when he got into the ring it was the same Floyd we always have seen.

Both business guys on Saturday saw it as an easy payday and that is exactly what it was, both made it easy for the other, nothing exciting about the fight, I think Khan would make a better account of himself against mayweather,
People saying ggg or cotto rematch don't think that will happen
                    Maybe victor Ortiz lol

Hatton defo did make a better account of himself, but honestly you never know how the money to be generated would hinder the opponents ability to go all out which pacman didn't
