Ricky Hatton Should Get A Lot Of Credit

Hatton faced a Prime Floyd, and it was a competitive fight and he went out on his shield

People look at Hatton gettin TKO'd, but they forget how he was landing on Floyd and not allowing him to breath

Hatton put up a better fight than Pac

This is the truth. Hatton was more of a warrior than Pacquiao. Took risks Pacquiao wasn't willing to take.

      Indeed

i re watched the fight the other day and it was very entertaining, never a dull moment

people say floyd is boring, but it takes two to tango

hatton vs floyd was far from boring, it was electric from the first bell

People like Hatton and Maidana (for all his fouling) deserve credit for remaining undeterred. Many people check their approach after the first flush counter.

Yes. Hatton kept trying and paid for it by getting KTFO. I have far more respect for his performance than I do Manny's.

Maidana is a hell of a tough guy.

And despite how tough Pacquiao is, he wasn't fearless as many people expected, he clearly was relutant to throw his straight left (from the non-injured shoulder) while estabilishing lead foot dominance after he got caught by Mayweather's counters in the first rounds. By the way, he didn't even tried it for the rest of the fight, he would only throw again in the Round 11.

Hatton didn't do better than Pac. The anticlimactic result is just clouding your mind.

no one said he did better-he made a better accounting of himself and fought to win, not to just get a check.

I can name like 10 fighters that gave Mayweather a better fight than Manny Pacquiao, the man who was supposed to destroy Floyd, the man who was supposed to cut off and make Floyd punch much more than he normally does.

Emanuel Augustus gave Mayweather one of his toughest fights even though he got TKOed, it's not even close to what Pacquiao did.

Carlos Hernandez, Made Floyd uncomfortable and Floyd broke his hand during the fight, one of Floyd's toughest fights.

                  Jesus Chavez
                  Jose luis Castillo
Demarcus Corley (this was when all this Mayweather isn't good against southpaws **** started, he gave Mayweather one hell of a very exciting fight)

                  Zab Judah
                  Oscar Dela Hoya
                  Ricky Hatton
                  Miguel Cotto
                  Marcos Maidana

Pacquiao throwing 420 punches in 12 rounds is pathetic!

Op is saying that even though Hatton got KO he went out fighting and I agree. Hatton could have taken the money and try to out box floyd And lost a decision like pacquiao
