In the example I gave I was suggesting boxers are essentially customers of Haymon Boxing. They have seemingly decided upon Haymon Boxing advising their career of their own free will like anyone else can not decide that or decide Arum or Oscar is a better fit for them.Comment

Haymon operates as manager to 150 fighters. He is also at the helm of PBC, which puts together fights and broadcasts them on several networks, showcasing his fighters. He and his backers have paid for air time to broadcast these fights. He is clearly acting as manager and promoter, which is a conflict of interest, and a direct violation of the Ali Act. How anyone can argue that this is not the case is very strange.Comment

Nobody is talking about the fighters we already established that Haymon is good for fighters to make high purses for easy mismatches. For the one million time how does this benefit boxing fans who get good fights blocked for easy mismatched fights? That's why fans don't like Haymon. The promoters and the associations don't like Haymon because he is circumventing the Ali act and taking a lot of money out of their pockets. PBC is a crappy product and Haymon prevents his fighters from the fights the fans want. Haymon could literally smack your momma and you would defend that fool. Better get your PBC hat and t-shirt now because not too long from now it will be gone. Combination of low TV ratings, poor attendance, and lawsuits will shut that second rate fake UFC crap down. But yeah keep up the good work defending him and accusing anyone who doesn't of being a racist white man or a uncle tom. Have fun with that. lolComment

The kids who work in sweat shops in the third world don't complain either. I guess no one should be interfering in that either by your way of thinking.
He is currently acting as advisor, manager, promoter and broadcaster of the fights as well due to his time buy. He is in control of every aspect of the PBC cards he is putting on. Once he has his fighters signed to long term contracts and brings in his own titles, he can start paying them whatever he wants to pay as a purse. The fighters will be locked into long term deals that Haymon controls.Haymon operates as manager to 150 fighters. Exactly. Boxing was effed up before Haymon got involved in the sport. I think anyone rational would agree things were effed up before & still are now. If thats the case & Haymon is just another crooked mfer why do you care? Has boxing reached its crooked mfer quota or something.I swear boxing fans are the dumbest sports fans on the planet. Downright cannibalistic when it comes to the sport. U know what, let everything go back to how it's been the last 10 years. Let's the frikkin sport evaporate even more til it all but dies. Honestly at thus point it will be deserved. Because seriously who gives a ****. Mayweather and Pacquiao are gone after thus year. Perfect time for something new and all we get is this the sides bull****. Sad part is these idiots think this is about fans. It's about rich ppl being fearful of what other rich people are doing. They can't compete in the marketplace so they have to fight the battle in the courts. Has nothing to do with fans. But whatever. Haymon is a crook and now Oscar, Arum, the ABC are scions of good. Let's continue this slow plunge into who gives a **** that is boxing. I don't even care to write about this **** anymore, u mother****ers are too dumb to even understand the plot.
If Haymon is crooked, like the rest, then we just got a new player in the bs of boxing. I don't see the big deal with that. We got a bunch of crooked guys in the sport. So either you got a vested interest in the power structure currently running boxing, you got some sort of irrational hate or prejudice towards Haymon or you are just ******.Comment

Haymon's been cooking up The Boxing Revolution for a very long time now.
People are up in arms against fighters becoming their own promoters and taking better control of their careers?
A fighter can now keep more of his own hard earned money in his pocket and the ol' established boys aren't liking it one bit.
That's a damn shame.

This makes no difference. Fighters do not pay promoters, promoters pay fighters, and PBC changes nothing as far as their expenses. They still have to pay their trainers, their managers, their advisors. The only difference is that their advisor is also now their boss who is paying them and the fighter's payment to their advisor is basically a kickback to their employer. Do you pay your boss a percentage of your paycheque every week?Haymon's been cooking up The Boxing Revolution for a very long time now.
