      So yes, Hauser's a hack
What do Mayweather's tests have to do with what he's written about Haymon?

The latest investigation into Al Haymon***8217;s Haymon Boxing organization is now gaining a groundswell of support.

Sports Illustrated***8217; Chris Mannix reported earlier this week that Oscar de la Hoya***8217;s Golden Boy Promotions plans to file a lawsuit against the high-powered adviser as well as his financial backers. The foundation of the lawsuit stems from the insistence that Haymon is in violation of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act, which prohibits business activities deemed as anti-competitive.

This outcome is going to be HILARIOUS! Sounds like nothing more than JEALOUSY and a bunch of Insecure people who are nervous about their future and want to see if they can put a stop to a Power Force that is Building in the Sport of Boxing that has fighter jumping to PBC Daily

Oh and Haymon just took Hugo Centeno Jr. away from GBP by the way which I'm sure pissed Oscar off yet again after the Johnny Gonzalez situation.

Nobody is stealing fighters, they're making the jump themselves because THEY clearly like what is going on with PBC.

Haymon is NO DUMMY, I Guarantee he seen this coming and is more than prepared for this and has everything in order to make them all look like complete idiots. As if these Major Networks are going to jump in bed with a Dirty Business without having him present the proper paper work and verify his company. Not anybody can just "BUY TV TIME" it doesn't work like that

They're not going to STOP this PBC thing if that is their Plan. This just looks like Bitterness because GBP and the WBO are not part of the Biggest Event In Boxing History. Anyway Best Of Luck to Them All...But It Looks Like 100% Sour G****s! Don't blame Haymon, blame the fighters for the lack of Loyalty. A few of them was allowed to stay with GBP only to go back to Haymon a few months Later (both Khan and Santa Cruz). The Fighters are the ones picking sides nobody is being FORCED to do anything, now that would be Illegal if fighters was FORCED to Join PBC

I hope they win. I think Haymon is a sneaky, greedy hustler and a damn good one.

But the fighter is also paying Haymon, which means Haymon is working for the fighter. Can't have it both ways. It's like paying a lawyer to represent you when you are suing a company but your lawyer is also the head of the company you are suing. It.just.don't.work.
The Ali Act, from what I've been able to figure about the law, was intended to prevent a person from collecting two checks from a fighter; Don King, was known to take manager fees from both fighters, and then collect his take as promoter on top.

Haymon is collecting one check. As was the case in Chavez example, Haymon's company acted as a pass-through to Chavez's company, with Chavez taking the near full fee Haymon received, sans Haymon's own cut.

The lawyer example is inaccurate; a clearer example would be if you hired Barcham, Barcham, Barcham LLP (law firm) to represent you suing the company, the company suing you paid the settlement to Barcham, Barcham, Barcham LLP, who then cut a check to you , less whatever fee they charged you for their work.

Barcham, Barcham, Barcham LLP, though multiple transactions were undertaken, only netted one payment on your case.

Hauser jumping off with the "OMG, i've seen/heard of Mayweather failing three of his own tests, yet he questions Pacquiao" story is why his name holds any credence on even this site. If he's made some pronouncement that proved to be insightful beforehand, I haven't read it.

I bring up the Mayweather tests because, in my mind, that "bombshell" is where Tom Hauser became a source that folks were supposed to respect. he threw out a rumor, let the blogosphere cannibalize it, while never actually confirming anything that was said in the rumor. If he truly got access to Floyd's three failed tests, he would've been able to argue that "Floyd failed three tests, passing positive for X on the first one, Y on the second one, and Z on the third one" rather than just say nothing.

He may have the goods on Haymon; he may not have the goods on Haymon; in my opinion, the Floyd incident showed me that his writings weren't worth anything. If Hauser spouts a rumor, you check the web/media for several independent stories that corroborate the rumor. No one else having the information, in my mind, makes Hauser's rumor full of ****.

He's written a lot of stuff about Haymon and most of it, from what has transpired so far, hasn't turned out to be true.
