Because as soon as the match starts and there is no celebration, no fighter entourage, no blasting music, no ring announcer, no ring girls, no enthusiastic crowd, you end up with a bad taste in your mouth afterwards and are hardly in a mood to give the show a rave review.

Nothing in Haymon history shows the best fighting the best. He is the road block for countless fights. Arum say what you want will make fights with rival promoters and will put his best fighters against each other. More so then the boxing cancer Haymon.

Casual boxing fans r those who really only know about BIG fights like the one on Saturday . U say the PBC fights have ****** but most all on this site calmored to see One Time vs Geurrero and most were even excited to see Fonfara/ Chavez which was a very good matchup considering most were wrong thinking Chavez would win . But because its Haymon , many on here express the excitement BEFORE a certain match happens , and after the fight occurs the very same people S..T on the matchup . It's pretty disgusting . But I really don't wanna hear no more about the "Casual Boxing Fan" because its not my concern as to how to get a casual boxing fan to become a regular on . I don't own a network ! I simply wanna see better matchups , and that's exactly what Haymon has provided in my opinion . And in mostly everybody else's opinion , until after the fight when they change their tune .
Other than for possibly the hard core Chavez fans I believe most on this forum realized that Junior was going to get exposed. After all even his own father knew it was going to happen. As for the casual boxing fans, however you want to define them, in my opinion boxing on free TV won't survive without them. And unfortunately they are already leaving. As far as the premier match making by PBC. I have to ask. Who decided to have the Degale-Dirrell fight in Boston? What ties do either fighter have to the city? The Red Sox are also playing at home that day, is that such a great idea?

Lol come on now haymon had some of best matches over the last couple of years minus last year and we all know why the fights last year was made boxing in total was bad overall year in 2014 is that all haymon fault you can't try and rip haymon but praise arum and he does the same exact thing the real reason a lot of people don't like haymon because he associated with Floyd whoever associated with Floyd automatically gets hate

Yup and before that Manny fought Bradley. Haymon fighters face mismatch after mismatch. When is the last time Danny Garcia defended his title? How many bum fights in a row has Broner fought. Khan ain't had a legit fight in 2 years. Ill take 2 alltime greats in Manny vs Marquez 10 times before crap like Garcia vs Salka. Arum ain't perfect but he doesn't pull the blatant crap Haymon does and again he will work with rival promoters something Haymon won't do. And he won't even put his best fighters in the ring together.

Much of what was, and is, known about Haymon is because of Hauser's articles.

This means you can force them to make decisions that are not in their best interests, i.e. turning down lucrative contracts to be promoted by other people, taking a dive, taking drugs to gain an advantage, whatever. Many of his top fighters are both promoted and managed directly by him.....that alone is in direct violation of the Ali Act and is a punishable offense.

This violation is enough to warrant a more in depth investigation. Especially when you are taking money out of other organizations' pockets, these people aren't just going to walk away, they will keep on him until something happens. The courts will ultimately feel compelled to take action, especially once more groups join in the lawsuit.
Al Haymon is a dominant manager, advising the fighters he works with to take the most lucrative fights possible. Haymon can't legally bother with the nuts and bolts of putting together fights, so he works with promoters who willingly handle those duties.

For the longest time, that promoter was Richard Schaefer-led Golden Boy Promotions; Al would have a fight that he wanted for his fighter and his fighter was interested in, he'd call Golden Boy, and Golden Boy would handle he legwork for the event, putting together the actual fights.

The fighters would get paid what Haymon was able to secure for them, and Golden Boy would earn their own take, once all the costs of the event were covered.

Haymon is only looking out for his fighters, taking the only known money that he takes from fighter purse. Why would Haymon ever bother with the hassles of being a formal promoter, taking money from the fighters that he's seeking to enrich?

He's already made his own fortune outside of boxing. He has no need to gouge anyone off of a promoter's cut.
