As for the Arum's, Oscar's etc. Instead of griping and suing, how about investing some of the money you made back into the sport also. Haymon is taking a huge risk paying free networks to broadcast his shows. Arum talked about it lots, but never did it. Oscar never even talked about it.

The sport is so lowstream now, that I doubt Haymon's vision will be a big success in the long run, but at least he is trying. He might find a niche, but unless he captures some WOW factor in his shows, he will have a hard time capturing the "addicted" type of viewers.
This is exactly how I feel. At least Haymon is trying to bring boxing back into the mainstream. Arum talked about it for years, and never did it. The rest of the "low budget" promoters were too busy trying to stay afloat with whatever crumbs HBO and Showtime threw at them.

Haymon is not waiting on HBO or Showtime. He's putting his own mone (well investor money) and taking huge risks. And I as a boxing fan have to applaud that.

Haymon doesn't even need lawyers. He has posters on here who have already won the case.

              Case dismissed!

Haymon and Schaeffer are like bratty little girls who couldn't care less about the fans. That's why we'll just keep seeing mismatches for Thurman, Khan, Santa Cruz, Quillin, Garcia and all the other fighters on the Haymon roster. Until hopefully one day the ship collapses.
Well one guy is a coke addict who isn't fit to run a business and had Schaefer do all the work for him. The other is a old senile bitter dichead who got banned from the MGM because he is so difficult to work with.

Dibella and Goosen Tutor are experienced players in this game that have paid their dues and put on hundreds of great cards over the years.
