Get stripped? Stripped of what? Stevenson holds the WBC title, not Kovalev. What should be done is that anyone entering the purse bid should be forced to reveal the source of their funding and as Al Haymon is not a promoter, he and all associated with him should be prohibited from any financial involvement.

If Haymon finances a promoter that is the same as acting as a promoter himself which would put him in violation of the Ali Act and he should be charged under that Act if necessary.

May thing is, if HBO wants the fight so bad on their network...PUT THE MONEY UP FOR IT and WIN THE BID! Come Up with a Package for Both Side to agree upon and that way you don't have to do the bid. Yeah I know they don't want to work with Haymon blah blah blah but in orders to do another huge fight once again you have to do a deal with what they consider "The Devil"

They don't have to deal with Haymon at all, they only have to deal with GYM. Haymon is Stevenson's 'advisor' and his problem to deal with. He should have nothing at all to do with the bid or the discussion on where the fight is held or broadcast. All he should be doing is waiting for GYM to make their offer to Cluckinson and 'advise' him on whether he should accept it or not.

Am I the only one remembering all the nutty **** Kathy Duva brought up last time? Is there any reason people are thinking she's just gonna forgot Sergay still has a fight lined up before this purposed Adonis fight & that maybe Adonis will fight again too? Did the currency exchange issue get worked out? Kathy cool with Sergey fighting on primetime NBC now? I think most of the problems mentioned last time are still present so this seems like a do over of the last situation to me.

This. For just one example, look how Kov followed Jackson's instructions to the letter vs BHop, a master boxer. Kov listens and handles adversity extremely well.
