He throws a variety of punches depending on what he sees as an opening to minimize the risk of being hit back.
True!!!! But against Manny, he will be forced to keep a jab out there just to stifle the attack.

Jabs don't work against Manny. He's mastered taking that away from his opponents. His main concern with Floyd won't be the jab, it'll be the straight right. Manny has to stay on Floyd's weak side and turn him whenever they're in the center of the ring. When he has Floyd cornered on the ropes, he has to be cautious about just jumping in. I recently saw training footage where Roach was working on that with him.

uh, I'm referring to an opponent that actually lands the jab, not miss constantly like Cotto did.
Cotto missed the jab because Manny MADE HIM MISS. He did the same to all of his opponents since. Watch some tape.

His legs are good and never failed him but they aren't the same he's 38 it's common sense no 38 year old will have the legs as when they were younger. He does stay in the pocket more and does sit on the ropes sometimes more than he should but like I said overall they are still good.

Sorry I don't subscribe to your view that Floyd is flawless and doesn't age.

          Last 2 fights for starters.

          And the Cotto fight.

But I wouldn't say they "failed him" I never said that.

His mobility has been compromised and he can't move like he used to unless the opponent is cement footed like Canelo or Guerrero.

Manny has good head movement and people underestimate his boxing skills. Floyd will have more success countering Manny when he jumps in to attack

Nice way to avoid the question and put words in my mouth I never said Mayweather was flawless and doesn't age. You said Mayweather's legs have failed him in the past. I asked you when and you couldn't answer it.

                  End of story.

LOL, now you're just talking nonsense. Floyd doesn't have the speed to pull that off. He couldn't even counter Maidana's counter

Another one of a few flaws Mayweather has looking at this, he pulls that right hand counter back before he throws it good luck doing that against Manny
