You're missing the point .... Neither Manny nor Floyd have fought that many opponents that were fleet of foot. Because there just aren't that many!!!!

Sounds like with your amazing boxing knowledge you will have no problem becoming trainer of the year. Let me know when you get your first award....haha

Agreed, they are both elite fighters that's why it's a 50/50 fight

If you're dismissing Cotto's jab to make your point then you need to think of a new point.

I don't want to belabour the point for those that have pea-brains, but it still stands .......

Apparently, the criteria for winning the trainer of the year is somewhat jaded and misconstrued. Since clearly you don't need to be a winning trainer, or a trainer that surpassed the competition in accomplishments.

No I'm not dismissing it .... Only making the observation that it wasn't connecting. I think that is a relevant point, since Floyd has a much better jab than Cotto and is more accurate.

In that short clip Cotto landed maybe two and all the rest missed.

I think Floyd's jab is a bit overrated. Floyd has accuracy but he throws the jab as well as any other punches sparingly because he is so concerned of being hit or countered. Floyd doesn't constantly stick the jab or refrains from throwing too many jabs to create a pattern that exposes him. He throws a variety of punches depending on what he sees as an opening to minimize the risk of being hit back.

                    Why wasn't it connecting?

Because Pac is probably the best at avoiding and countering jabs

Tell me the fight where Mayweather's legs "failed" him. Not what you interpret. Tell me when it actually happened.
