Has Manny ever fought an opponent that kept a stiff jab in his face???
That's what Roach should be considering, because if Floyd employs a consistent jab throughout the fight then Manny will have issues getting his momentum started and maintaining it.Comment

You are such a genius how many trainer of year awards have you won?? O yeah zeroI see Roach hasn't been studying those tapes too well. Especially since he keeps focusing on and talking about movement. Floyd doesn't have to move to dominate and he has done just that with every fighter that had an aggressive stance and style.
Floyd fought Canelo without moving till the 7th round or something like that. And he was beating Canelo to the punch all night. Floyd fought Mosley not doing a lot of movement -- He fought Maidana without moving all that much.Comment

I just watched that fight yesterday (Thank you very much ESPN) Floyd's legs did gas but it wasn't until the 8th or 9th rounds. He made Maidana look completely ****** for 7 of the first 8 rounds (Sans the end of the 3rd and the 4th).Comment

Algieri, claiming to be a fast guy, with his kickboxing background, can move quite well but Pacquiao has no problems with his movement at all. Algieri is not Floyd but let's focus on the foot movement. Is Floyd going to be moving as much as Algieri did in the entire fight? Probably not. Why did Algieri have to move? Because that's his only chance is to move and box. Unfortunately, you can't just move and box against Pacquiao as Pacquiao can close the distance quickly and get in some good shots, as we saw Algieri suffering several knockdowns. Bradley knows this too. He tried to move and box in the first fight but we all know Bradley didn't win. In the second fight, Bradley knows he can't just move and box and has to take the fight to Pacquiao. Look at Marquez, he tries to box, box, and box but it always end up in decision in Pacquiao's favor. Marquez like Bradley knows you have to risk and take it to Pacquiao and try to knock him out. The question is Floyd going to take that risk and bring it to Pacquiao? If Floyd thinks he can stand in the pocket and pop shot Pacquiao, he's going to realize quickly that aint going to work.Comment

ok lets talk woulda shoulda coulda now. if bradley had cottos power he would have ko'd pac, different story. idiot, wait wait wait let me guess, this only works when its in pacs favor correct?Actually, I don't think it even matters if Floyd has lost a step or two with his legs. Pac's movement will simply pose problems for any fighter shot or not. Since Floyd's comeback he has not fought anyone, or even prior to the comeback, near the foot speed of Pacquiao. If Marquez, Mosely, Cotto, Guerrero, Alvarez, or Maidana have the type of foot speed Pacquiao has, it would have been a different story.Comment
