It probably won't happen if he loses to Fonfara, who would go from losing to Fonfara to fighting Froch? Jr. wouldn't anyway looking at his record.

Carl wants what you posted. He isn't getting that so he isn't willing to further negotiate. Hence, he got stripped.
No, it would support what it says in the link, that they were unable to agree by due date (assuming the link is accurate). They were unable to agree because Ward refused the venue.

He didn't want to avenge his loss. He didn't want to fight the lineal champion.

      His wife's still hot though.

I never said "they were negotiating". I said Ward tried to negotiate.

Weebler said Froch put the fight on the table and Ward rejected it.

I said, Ward countered that (which is negotiating) meaning he said he would go to the UK just not Nottingham.

The twitter dude said Froch was stripped because he wasn't willing to negotiate.

I have no idea what went on behind the scenes but if the Twitter dude is right, then Froch clearly had no interest in the fight. And I don't know why you would argue otherwise because you clearly agree that he doesn't need it and wants one last payout before walking away.

Negotiations are still ongoing according to Eddie Hearn.

Yes he did. He has that right, since he thoroughly and completely defeated Froch.

This is not a "necessary" rematch. It's a cash grab. If Ward wants to use his win to make less moneythan he could-he's a ******ed idiot-he earned the right by beating Froch head up.

Good. Froch better agree to a venue other than Nottingham. Make it at the place they had Haye-Chisora.

I don't know why Ward thinks its going to be that much different in another venue. I know no one gives a **** about Ward anywhere outside of Oakland but it doesn't work like that here. Froch will still have rabid support at any venue in the UK.

Which makes me believe that Ward is not really serious about it at all.

The fact that he thinks Wembley is a viable option adds further credence to it.

              Why?

Wasn't Mikkel Kessler courageous enough to fight Ward in Oakland? Wasn't Sergey Kovalev brave enough to fight Jean Pascal and Nathan Cleverly in their hometowns?

Are those guys courageous ring warriors, while Andre Ward is an insecure, craven prima donna who demands everything his own way?

Froch is a popular fighter, while Ward can't draw flies. The Son of Goat should man up and fight Froch in Nottingham.

That part I agree with, turning down a career high payday against a guy he beat 9-3 (8-4 at worst) over the sake of 128 miles is not brightest move imo.

In all honesty, someone like Froch is bigger than any title.

when you beat a guy that clearly you earn the right to make the rematch when and where you want it IMO.

If ward wants to lose out on a couple mil, its his decision.

Kessler and Kovalev are great fighters too.
