Not just money, it's about fighting in Las Vegas.

But honestly, Froch waiting around for a messer like Chavez Jr. was always going to be a recipe for disaster, it has already left him inactive for a year at the age of 37 and two titles down.

Froch's legacy is already set in stone. Nothing he does from here on out will have any effect on it. He wants to have a fight in Vegas where he has never fought before and to go out in style with a great weekend party. He's earned it.

If Froch gets stripped while Ward gets to keep his belt, it's an injustice. Ward has been inactive for two years.

The WBA never forced Sturm to fight Golovkin, and will never have a purse bid for Braehmer to fight GGG. They seem to keep changing their own rules.

It's easy to say something to the press, man. Leo Santa Cruz is willing to fight the world if you listen to his public statements. Both fighters have publicly said they want the fight but I can guarantee you that neither of them really do.

Ward has been inactive for 16 months. Froch has been inactive for 11 months. Ward has the real belt. The WBA stripped the right guy, Carl the Cowardly Cobra Froch.

Froch put the fight on the table. Ward turned down his terms based on venue.

                That's how it went.

It's called negotiating. According to that source Froch was unwilling to negotiate so they stripped him.

They were in negotiations, confirmed by both sides. They failed because Ward refused the venue.
