You can't get props by beating a 41 yr. old man, who lost to Bradley. But you can make A LOT of money! So if you want money, fight Marquez, if you want to be respected as an elite WW, fight Thurman. If Brook wants the winner of May vs. Pac, he needs to beat Thurman. Same can be said for Amir Khan, if he wants next, beat Thurman!

Why should anyone beat Thurman? He is a no body. No fans asides a few forum dwellers. Thurman has one good win against a gallant but limited for in Ghost. Ghost had no motivation left and has been losing the plot for a while now. He also struggled against a EBU champion. Barely landed a power punch. Brook, who has done nothing asides from one win over hype job Porter would wreck Thurman. Neither deserves a big fight as neither have more than the one name on thief resume and zero risks!

I understand Brook taking the bigger money fight since Khan will not fight. JMM did lose to Bradley so I don't see why Brook would fight the 4th best ww who IMO he is currently ahead of.

Rather than JMM, I would love to see Thurman fight Brook as an "eliminator" to see who would be the #1 contender for the Floyd/Manny winner.

Thurman is a good fighter and his stock is growing but I laugh when people say that Khan or Brook "HAVE TO" beat Thurman to get to Mayweather

JMM isn't a factor in terms of WW anymore IMO because he said he will not fight Floyd or Manny again. Maybe he changes his mind. Until he does, I have him outside the Thurman, Brook and Bradley group.

I am not against it, I just prefer other fights to that one.

Marquez is ranked higher than Brook. Barrera was shot to hell when Khan fought him.
