    You're getting warmer.

One more time: Hatton's stated objective for fighting in the USA this year was to take fights that would increase his popularity and fanfair in North America.

The casual fan doesn't know much about him, and isn't going to care if he fights Collazo or Rabah.

If he were to fight Augustus, more people watch, the match up has the making of a great exciting fight (think of how Ward Augustus is still replayed to this day) and it increases his popularity and generates more interest in future fights.

That's beside the point of Collazo's camp asking for a Million dollars and Augustus willing to throw down for 950 Grand less than that.

Collazo is still a more challenging fight for Hatton. Augustus just isn't a world class fighter, whilst Collazo may be. Augustus only has himself to blame for the mess his career is in.

That right there is absolutely ignorant.

You couldn't hand pick a more difficult opponent for any fighter to face in that division.

Must I remind you about a fight that took place between Augustus and Floyd? what a fight that was....and he was more than holding his own for the longest time.

If you haven't seen him fight....and are merely looking at his record like too many others do....it's decieving.

He's been robbed in the majority of his losses, and has about as akward a style as you'll find in the sport.

On what basis do you state that opinion?

England or Great Britain is far from bias, are you sure you are not getting confused with other parts of Europe?

As for Augustus beating Hatton, LMFAO!

Augustus lost to Courtney Burton LOL, the same Burton who was KO'd by Elder with the big head...give me a break, hes a good match up for an up-and coming fighter, not one with a belt.

I've seen him fight and he is tough, but with his talent he shouldn't be taking fights just to showboat and moan about losing a decision. If you get robbed you come back and try to avoid getting robbed, instead of taking fights on short notice in the other bloke's hometown. While this shows balls from Augustus it most certainly doesn't give much of an impression that he has much going on upstairs.

He is an entertainer and a clown, but more of a circus sideshow than a credible opponent for the accepted divisional champion.

Why is it that when anyone (such as me)gives a realistic view of Augustus the lynch mob descends and tries to string them up. Its like the Emmanuel "I don't learn from my mistakes" Augustus nut-huggers convention on this site.

He's from my hometown....so you won't get a legitimate opinion from me. Bozo is an even bigger fan of his...so that's going to be stretching it.

But if you keep referring to him as a "clown" and "simply a showman" people might tend to not take your post seriously.

Sure he "clowns" and sure he's a "showman" but limiting him to these areas is in my best estimation....ignorant at best.
