That's not true. Pascal could never offer Stevenson anything. Stevenson has Haymon and his team makes the offers. Stevensons team had offered Hopkins the fight and he chose Kovalev instead. As much as I hate Stevenson, 50/50 is fair. And there's ZERO chance Kovalev walks from a 50/50 split, you must be confusing him with Stevenson who walked from a Pascal fight who offered him a 50/50 split, which Stevenson did not even deserve.
Kovalev is the guy who took something like 20/80 split against freaking Bernard Hopkins.Comment

Ducks involve fights not happening. Like how Stevenson made sure the fight didn't happen. I know your comprehension of a duck isn't very good since you bend over frontwards, backwards, and through time and space to defend them.Comment

Hopkins choosing Kovalev wasn't that simple. He chose Kovalev because Haymon was ****ing around with the mandatories and was positioning them up to to strip Hopkins of the title he had at the time. Stevenson and Haymon were delaying purposely in hopes of that happening. Hopkins instead went with the opponent that was not being difficult in negotiations and ended up with a better overall payday.Comment

It was Stevensons team that went to the WBC to order the purse bid. So why would he vacate?
http://www.rds.ca/combat/boxe/superm...alev-1.2170101Remember, Stevenson's promoter already made this fight once. He reached an agreement, verbally and via email, with Kathy Duva and had a contract drawn up ready for Adonis to sign.It was Stevenson's promoter who did that. We don't know why the promoter did that because they could have made a Kovalev fight without the WBC ordering it. Maybe he wanted to defy Al Haymon and show that he is in charge of Stevenson's career.
We don't know if the WBC ordered the fight as a result of Stevenson's promoter requesting it or if the WBC is simply trying to capitalize on a money-making opportunity. Regardless, Haymon could still squash the fight .if he doesn't want it to happen and overpay Stevenson for the rest of his career while Stevenson fights on PBC undercards.
But Superman signed with Haymon instead and turned into Superduck. That's why Duva started the law suit against them. Maybe GYM wanted to make sure that Haymon didn't stick his oar in and swerve Stevenson away from Kovalev again.Comment
