And the belts 100% matter, you're right on that. Besides, we could have an undisputed champion at LHW. The only one in the sport. Undisputed champions don't even seem possible anymore but we could have one now.
If HBO can convince Roc Nation to bid they can get rid of Stevenson without either ever having to pay a cent because Haymon will have Stevenson vacate just like he did with Quillin.

Just the rumor of Roc Nation hovering over Garcia-Postol and Wilder-Stiverne was enough to force Haymon into making deals to avoid the purse bid.

Only thing is HBO have been turning down Roc's offers on Ward so maybe they're not inclined to bid this time.

Edit: actually thinking about it that was before Haymon had his investor's money, he might be able to outbid any Roc offer.

War Kovalev! My guess is Stevenson vacates it like Quillin though, I don't see this fight happening.

Finally. I look forward to this fight. But what to do for Kovalev after it's over? With both Hopkins, Pascal and Stevenson defeated, there won't be much left to do at the weight.

There are a few good fighters coming up like Beterbiev, E.Alvarez, Shabranskky, Mekhontsev, Chilemba and maybe Marcus Brown the NY prospect. Some talk of a Pascal rematch too.
