Let me explain to you how this sport works:

You see, fights are judged on a round by round basis, each round being of equal value. Fights are not scored by total amount of punches thrown and landed.

Since you are obviously new to the sport I will give you an easy hypothetical scenario to illustrate my point:

Fighter A vs Fighter B in a 4 round fight:

    Round 1: Fighter A lands 6 punches, Fighter B lands 3
    Round 2: Fighter A lands 8 punches Fighter B lands 3
    Round 3: Fighter A lands 8 punches Fighter B lands 4.
    Round 4: Fighter A lands 5 punches, Fighter B lands 25.

Even though Fighter B has out landed fighter A in total punches, he lost 3 of the 4 rounds and thus loses the fight (even if you scored the last round 10-8 for Fighter B)

In regards to Mayweather vs Castillo I. For the first 6 rounds Floyd did a very good job of controlling the tempo, using his jab and out boxing Castillo in a low-tempo fight.

In the second half, the tempo of the fight picked up dramatically, resulting in a lot more punches being thrown / landed.

Regardless, round 1 counts just as much as round 7.

Now that I have educated you on the subject, please do your best to read up on the sport. You have a lot to learn, young grasshopper.
ok, let's switch it up a little.. how does the "A Side" fighter get credit for his punches landed and the "B Side" get's snubbed for the output.. what if this..

    Round 1: Fighter A lands 6 (jabs) of 20 punches, Fighter B lands 3 (pwr) of 30
    Round 2: Fighter A lands 8 (jabs) of 20 punches Fighter B lands 3 (pwr) of 30
    Round 3: Fighter A lands 8 (jabs) of 20 punches Fighter B lands 4 (pwr) of 30
    Round 4: Fighter A lands 15 (pwr) of 30 punches, Fighter B lands 10 jabs of 15

Oh.. "he's efficient".. "sharp shooter".. "economical".. but yet aggressiveness is not given credit..

And here is the Roach quote of the day for 3/26/2015. Please tune in tomorrow for Roach's next quote titled "Floyd is a gutless coward who will not trade with Pac." Followed by "Floyd licks balls. I know because some guy from Mexico told me."

It's like Roach is talking to himself these days. He got one response out of senior and that's it. He's really making an @ss out of himself. If he's trying to get in anyones head he need to make sure it's not his own.

I find it hard to believe that this is coming from Roach. Its too ignorant to be believable. He doesn't believe Mayweather won a national tournament??? Its well known Mayweather was the number 1 ranked featherweight in the amateurs so I doubt Roach is ignorant to that fact. Mayweather won many national tournaments from 106 to 125 and was the favorite to win the Olympics. Maybe Roach is just drumming up drama for gamesmanship or truly is ignorant about the amateur circuit.
