Damn, Floyd and his team will be mentally broken down by the constant barrage of smack talk from Roach. Maybe they can bring in Steve Forbes to spar with Floyd to build his confidence a bit.

This is going to be a hell of a fight come May 2nd. I hope one side doesn't dominate, I think we deserve a classic.

As idiotic as the quote below sounds, it really made me laugh for its simplicity.

It is interesting that Roach mentioned how far from perfect Floyd's amateur record is. I think there are many current and past top-rated fighters with similar and even better records than his. It makes one wonder about the nit-picking for his fights (choosing the perfect rival, the most convenient catch-weight, the venue, the gloves, maybe even the judges and referee). And one should also wonder about the incredibly short number of professional fights he has, compared to any other ATG, some of those have more than twice the total of his fights, easily. If somebody nit-picks and fights very little, his chances of having a deceiving "undefeated" record, are much bigger.

But I really thought that when Roach said he has "tasted defeat", he was actually talking about the Castillo 1 fight, not his amateur record. I guess he will always stick to wrongly thinking that De la Hoya (a totally burned-out and non-prime De la Hoya I might add) is the one that has done better vs. Floyd, but that's not true, Castillo did much better, but of course, Castillo was not his fighter, so why even mention that? Too bad, there goes his credibility if he had any to begin with.

SMH...he's just making the point that Floyd is not unbeatable, he lost before, he can lose again.

I haven't seen Manny joking around while training since the fight became official. Manny is scary dead serious about his speed training and Roach is on ESPN mode inflicting mental damages to Floyd. Jr needs to work on his speed quick, May 2 is just around the corner. Cant beat Pac if you can't make him eat dust. If Floyd can get his legs back, it will be a walk in the park for him.

How the hell am I suppose to give you an answer to a hypothetical scenario? There's not an actual fight I can watch between Fighter A and Fighter B to see the effectiveness of their punches.

                Ineffective Aggressiveness isn't given credit.

                Effective aggression IS given credit.

Boxing is a subjective sport. That's the ****ty thing about it.

Experience is "learning what you did wrong in the past to prevent it in the future" Roach. Obviously as of now MW is a scholar.
