  • Floyd didn't adjust to anything, he had the most concerned look on his face of his entire career when the decision was being announced, and during the second half of the fight. Castillo was busier, he was putting on the pressure and this was no "Slow Sluggish bull chasing around the dancing matador" scenario either that people make it out to be because yes Floyd was moving and Castillo was chasing him but Castillo was landing not just swinging wildly and missing.

I'll be the first to say I underestimated the guy and think he is potentially a future ATG. The way he beat the brakes off of GRJ was demoralizing and he just looked like a machine, in a fluid sense, not like a Wlad mechanical sense; the guy looked like a terminator.
I think from 18 he was averaging 1 fight a week every week for 7 years, and winning them all apart from one.

      He just loves boxing.

      • Lot of upset Flomos in this thread who can't comprehend that Floyd has lost before multiple times, he's a bronze medallist ffs.

Roach is quite right, Floyd knows well what it's like to lose, he lost in the ams and arguably the pros too. All this unbeaten stuff is just marketing because no one would watch if he didn't have the official zero on his record that maybe wouldn't be there if he wasn't the hometown guy.
