Let me explain to you how this sport works:

You see, fights are judged on a round by round basis, each round being of equal value. Fights are not scored by total amount of punches thrown and landed.

Since you are obviously new to the sport I will give you an easy hypothetical scenario to illustrate my point:

Fighter A vs Fighter B in a 4 round fight:

      Round 1: Fighter A lands 6 punches, Fighter B lands 3
      Round 2: Fighter A lands 8 punches Fighter B lands 3
      Round 3: Fighter A lands 8 punches Fighter B lands 4.
      Round 4: Fighter A lands 5 punches, Fighter B lands 25.

Even though Fighter B has out landed fighter A in total punches, he lost 3 of the 4 rounds and thus loses the fight (even if you scored the last round 10-8 for Fighter B)

In regards to Mayweather vs Castillo I. For the first 6 rounds Floyd did a very good job of controlling the tempo, using his jab and out boxing Castillo in a low-tempo fight.

In the second half, the tempo of the fight picked up dramatically, resulting in a lot more punches being thrown / landed.

Regardless, round 1 counts just as much as round 7.

Now that I have educated you on the subject, please do your best to read up on the sport. You have a lot to learn, young grasshopper.
Thanks for explaining this to some

They just don't get it or don't want to get it

Fight totals don't tell the round by round happenings in a fight or who what what rounds

3 big rounds in a twelve round fight that a guy was dominated in can make final stats close but the fight wasnt

I know Mayweather fans can be a bit much sometimes too, but I haven't seen anything like Pac fans before. The ones who swear Pacman will KO Mayweather in give or take 5 rounds. Possible, maybe. Likely?
You haven't been perusing here long enough then. There's quite a few Floyd homers who are predicting Floyd will walk down and KO Manny.

Floyd will beat the *** out of Pac on May 2nd that Pac will forget to thank the Jesus guy postfight. This will not be close or controversial. Floyd KOs Pac in 6 or 8 rounds.

Pac should thank ***roach for pissing Floyd off. Floyd will not move much from this guy. He'll fight him inside and beat him to the punch. Pac will be the one doing the running. Watch and learn.

I'd love for Roger to be in Floyd's corner. I don't like Floyd Sr. much as the trainer in this fight. I wanna see an aggressive Floyd, as he has always been against southpaws. That's the only thing I agree with in all of ***roach's mouth diarrhea.

To hear that JR lost many fights in the amateurs and to KNOW that he LOST the OLYMPICS,,,,,,well enough of that if you've ever lost s###!!!!!!!

The difference in Jr's Amateur and Olympic days

                  vs

his Pro days , is simple:

He was TOLD who he was fighting in the Amateur's and in the OLYMPICS but in the PRO's he picked and chose.

Note: In the Pro's he for the past ten years ducked prime elites but come MAY 2 he is facing a prime elite that has had 6 years of hearing slanderous insults against him, his nation, and his culture, with wile insufferable arrogant vomitious spew, that will come against this cherry picking JR with great Power and astonish the world. Fraud Jr will come to his end and all he will be doing is stuttering !
How does Pacduckiao nutz taste in your mouth. It will be great when he loses and you throw yourself and the rest of the tards off a bridge and never hear your worthless comments ever again loser.

You forgot that he fought Gatti instead of tougher fight vs Tszyu, Baldomir instead of Margarito, Maidana instead of Khan. Whether you wanna call it ducking or good matchmaking, Floyd doesn't always seek the toughest fights that the "fans want". That can't be disputed
