Santos got her ass beat by a kick boxer last year. She is ancient history and she destroyed her own career with her steroid abuse. She should have been permanently banned at that moment and I hope she never has a meaningful fight again. She has had numerous chances to sign with UFC and has always walked away from negotiations. She has a big mouth and like to talk crap about Rousey because that is the only thing that keeps her name in the news.

The reason is that it is usually the boxer who starts shooting off their mouth in the first place, claiming that they could beat XXX fighter anytime, anywhere. Then if they do actually give it a try, like James Toney did against 47 yr old Randy Couture, they get their head handed to them in the octagon. This is followed by the usual "but if it was a boxing match, the boxer would have won"

Well that should be obvious to everyone from the get go. But when the boxer shot off their mouth, no one was talking about boxing. And in this case, neither was Laila when she opened her mouth.
