Did people even read the thread or the title?

A purse bid has been set. It doesn't mean Fury is fighting this guy. In fact, the article intimates that he'll drop the EBU title.

After Wlad beats Jennings, they'll start pushing for that fight.

Fury is going after the real champion, Wlad, and if he manages to beat Wlad his trash talking and clowning will reinvigorate the scene. If he loses badly he will retire and disappear, so what's the problem?
I am not an advocate for Deontay Wilder, but I do prefer his style to that of Tyson Fury (if one of the two were to be my next door neighbor, it would be Deontay). What bothers me most about Fury is his (and I know that this isn't politically correct) genuine ******ity and that he is thrilled by it. His playing to the lowest and slowest isn't something which I find appealing, and that he even associates with his father, the eye gouger, let alone employs him as an assistant trainer, is appalling. And as for Tyson disappearing after he loses to Vlad, well it won't happen. Vlad beats them all, and pretty much they all stick around until they are too old and forced to quit; therefore, Tyson will likely be boxing for a minimum of ten more years - sad to say. By the way, would Tyson Fury even consider fighting Deontay? If he won Deontay's title, it would make a fight with Vlad even more interesting.

"He should just fight Wlad" Lol. If only it was as simple as that. Frank Warren has been talking to Wlad's manager for weeks about it now.

The question is, does Wlad want to fight him?

Fury plays the clown because it works for him, gets him noticed etc, but he isn't ******. He verbally clowned David Haye during their pressers, and Haye is quite a quick witted, articulate guy.

Fury's dad is, or was, a heavy guy, and so was his uncle Pete, who also served time in prison, but family backgrounds like that are by no means unusual in boxing. And are you going to condemn a son for associating with his own father?

For sure he would fight Wilder, but it's not going to happen yet, if ever. Fury has his sights set on Wlad, and Haymon is not going to put Wilder in with anyone who has a real chance of beating him for while yet, whatever Deontay wants or says about it.

I didn't even read the comments but I knew all the idiots would spring out from their cave.

Fury will vacate the title. He already had a stay busy fight. Wlad has to defend his WBO belt against him next unless he pays him large step aside money to unify. I don't see Fury fighting anyone unless it's for Wilder's title. Teper could be fighting Joshua or Chisora next for the vacant title. I could see Chisora taking this fight if it presents itself...

I know the biritsh fans are supporting their man whole heartedly with Fury, but I just cant see it with this guy. Everyone goes on about his speed and his movement and he switched to southpaw! Oh wow. WHO CARES? He looks sloppy as can be to me, and the reason hes only been in with third tier guys is because he would lose to anyone above that national level. His handlers know this and that's why they want their Wlad shot, so he can get paid before he loses to someone. Every time I watch im fight I'm hoping he will show some great improvement and appear to have elevated his game. No sir, he looks just as sloppy and uncoordinated as always. That chisora II fight I've never seen someone look worse in a domanting victory.

There is a class of fighter like Pulev who I believe would be much improved if they ditched the old trainer and got a real top level trainer. I used to think fury was one of these but the more I see him I realize even emmanual stewart wouldn't have been able to help him.

Is that why he signed to fight David Haye twice?
