Seriously man, what makes you think Lara even wants to step into the ring with GGG after he literally ran from Canelo during his one chance at stardom?
Oh the irony!!!! If you're going to try to defend an opponent at least watch him fight.

You can't accuse Lara of running and then turn around and praise Willie Monroe.

He's not alone in that, but it is still frustrating for those who want to see what Golovkin really has.

This is one of his bleh fights. You wait it out and see what the next quality fight will be.
No I agree and I like that he's aiming for at least 4 fights this year. I'd rather he do 2 quality fights and 2 showcase fights a year than 2 fights a year.

There are fighters who are in a position of strength to pick their opponent (due to marketing, nationality, etc.) such as:

Floyd, Pac, Canelo, Cotto, Garcia, etc.

There are others who are not and therefore must subject themselves until there is a chance to fight one of the above:

RiGod and GGG are the top examples

We hold the ones in the first line to a higher standard because they can pick. The ones below we hope one day make the big jump and leverage (the A side stuff). GGG is not there yet.

I'd say Monroe has a much better chance against Golovkin than Salka did against Garcia. Monroe belongs in the mid to high echelons, Salka had absolutely no right being in there with Garcia. It was actually pretty sickening.

I get that you're sticking up for your team, but when your blind loyalty makes you post ludicrous statements like this, i'd say it would be time to change tack.
I don't think people are faking knowledge of Monroe. I don't think so but we can agree to disagree on chances to win. Again, completely agree with your point about Salka.

I hope you are not so ****** as to ride with el blanco and dirk on that silliness. If you actually believe it, so be it.

That's how I feel as well, the guy was a disgrace and ran from canelo. I don't even want to see how pathetic he'd be against ggg.

Lara weighed 170 in his last fight and has fought at middleweight numerous times. Plus Lara would be the best win on his resume. Top fighters that are 1 weight class apart have been colliding for years. Ward vs. GGG is the best fight in boxing and they are 1 weight class apart.
