That's all that really matters. I don't care about who's moving anywhere to be honest, I just want to see unification fights and great fighters fighting one another.
Who's had more fights at MW? Canelo.
    Who's fought more MW's? Cotto.

That's really all that matters. Until your boy fights one MW, you can't even talk about what Cotto is or isn't doing. He's 1 MW fighter and 1 MW title ahead of Canelo in 2 less fights in the division.

You cant blame a guy who doesn't have too many fights left and wants to make the most money possible. With that being said, cotto had a close relationship with Todd lebouf, and you can't say top rank hasn't done an incredible job with cottos career. He is the third most popular and 3rd highest paid in all of boxing. He always gets the opponents he wants and gets to fight in msg every June. For everything top rank did for him and he just leaves them hanging without returning any phone calls all of a sudden? Lebouf was right, cotto should have at least let them know what was going on or give them a chance to match the offer. Roc nation has a lot less power in the industry than top rank. Looks like maybe cotto wants to fight a few nobodies for alot of money to finish out his career. Oh well, he lost to pacquiao mayweather and Austin trout, and would likely lose to both Bradley and canelo if they fought. He is cashing out. I'm expecting cotto vs. Rod salka for the 160 lb title at a 155 catchweight.

Roc Nation may have "way deeper pockets" than Top Rank, they may also be way more willing to overpay and/or lose money on Cotto than Top Rank is.

Okay... which would mean they have deeper pockets and can afford to pay him where as Top Rank can't.

Top Rank has a stable of fighters, maybe they didn't need to lose money to make money.

              Maybe Roc Nation did.

I don't care as long as the fights are good, Top Rank had nothing to offer.

"...best for our fighters. I would never ever ever dismiss it"

Ok so why didnt we get Pac/d.garcia instead of algieri? How about Bradley? Whats "best" for him? Rematch with Chavez? Or how about the "draw" verdict so hed have a pay cut? **** Top Rank!

Todd lebouf even said he understands when people do what's in their best interest, but he didn't like the way cotto and his team handled the split, with them all of a sudden not returning any phone calls. I would be pissed off too if i was Todd lebouf. Arum developed him from the amateurs into a huge star, and this is how he acts? A real man would pick up a phone and say sorry I got an offer I couldn't refuse, or cam you beat the offer.

HUGE coup for Roc Nation. Gives them a very important piece in the boxing puzzle.
