look Roy beat everyone he had to beat in every weight class. people forget that he embarresed james toney. he worked tarver in the first fight with what sum of 20 pounds lost. the past 3 fights he had was father time catching up. look at tyson destroyed guys for years. couldnt come close to beating danny williams come on or what the hell is the other guys name come on now. he is another example of father time catching up. alot of people had lacy killing JC dont give this hail JC **** bc he was a nobody to alot of people ONE HERE before he even beat lacy. roy is going to go down as one of the best fighters in boxing history.

seriously im not a JC fan, but JC haters mind boggle me

You're still not getting it. But you're getting closer.

You imply that it "mind boggles you" to hear people critisize Calzaghe, who doesn't have a very good overall resume, isn't a lock for the Hall of Fame, and isn't one of the greatest fighters of his generation.

Then, you take Jones, who does have a very good overall resume, is a lock for the Hall of Fame, and is one of the greatest fighters of his generation,

and you come in hating and critisizing. Does that "boggle your mind"? Or do you still not get it?

The point is, you're a hypocirte, and you're supporting something in one case and critisizing in another case.

It's laughable you can't see it.

Now that Jones is washed up, his tune has predictably changed.
also, nigel benn said roy was too good for him to beat him, and eubank said he wasnt going out of his way to fight roy, the only way he would fight him is if he was the number 1 contender

I brought this up a while back, and no one believed me about this Calzaghe interview, because it's not up on the net anymore.

It was just after Jones beat Ruiz, and Calzaghe said he never had any true interest in fighting Roy because he thought he would have lost, and called Jones the greatest fighter in the world.

After Jones lost to Tarver, he suddnely changed his tune.

Do you remember that interview also?

Nobody said he ******, they just wondered how he somehow managed to avoid an amazing list of top fighters!

Yeah, nice alt account there Bozo No No

Calzaghe has been quoted in saying literally dozens of times over the last 10 years that he believes he would beat Roy Jones Jr, and that Jones Jr knows it too. Calzaghe even claimed that Jones Jr told him in private that he (Jones Jr) knew he (Jones Jr) couldn't beat him (Calzaghe)!

Nobody in their right mind would call Jones a top 10 middle or a top 10 light-heavy, that's crazy.
