Calzaghe has been quoted in saying literally dozens of times over the last 10 years that he believes he would beat Roy Jones Jr, and that Jones Jr knows it too. Calzaghe even claimed that Jones Jr told him in private that he (Jones Jr) knew he (Jones Jr) couldn't beat him (Calzaghe)!

Nobody in their right mind would call Jones a top 10 middle or a top 10 light-heavy, that's crazy.

Jones has never been Lineal champion at any weight he's ever fought at, never unified any title at any weight he's ever fought at, and somehow managed to miss out on the best crop of fighters between middleweight and light-heavyweight that there has probably ever been in terms of depth. I mean, seriously, weren't just a tad bit pissed off when he was getting in there with the Glenn Wolfe's of this world instead of Gerald McClellan, Lamar Parks and co? Or defending against the Antoine Byrd's of this world instead of fighting Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank, Stevie Collins, Frankie Liles, Michael Nunn and co? So he's calling out Jones Jr and Hopkins at every opportunity for years and yet has no intention of fighting them(?).. even though he's clearly an awesome fighter and if he beats them both he's the greatest, if he loses he gets mad props for giving them their toughest fights? Why the **** wouldn't he of wanted to fight them?? Calzaghe is a warrior, the complete opposite to a Sven Ottke.

I will not deny that he wasn't going to go to America, but Hopkins was offered £3million (almost $5million) and actually accepted it.. only to back out at the very last minute and demand $10million! Warren has all the documents to prove this. The fight would of been held at the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, it was right after the Charles Brewer fight. Then right after the Byron Mitchell fight, according to Warren (who apparently has all the evidence in his office), Hopkins agreed to a $6million deal only to change his mind 15 mins later!

This always goes back to the same point: Calzahge spent the majority of his career doing NOTHING talking about how everyone was avoiding him, when he was the one sitting in his backyard fighting nobodies.
