lol, this just proves how biased and ignorant you are.
You jump into a ******ed thread about one of the Greatest fighters of the last generation and start critisizing and hating like you're in support of the assanine notion the thread title suggests,
and then you put the icing on the cake by not recognizing the irony in suggesting Roy was boring or didn't fight anyone by sticking up for Calzaghe.
If you can't see how sad that is for you, you're the one who needs help.
im not a JC fan at all, but unlike some i dont spout bull ****.
bottom line- JC was more than willing to fight RJJ, RJJ was not willing to risk fightin JC

You're a closet fan, that's sad enough on it's own.
But regardless of whether you're a fan or not, you're not bright enough to recognize that the critisisms you've thrown at Jones here can be said ten fold of Calzahge up to this year, yet you're all over Joe's sack. And the difference is, Roy's universally recognized as a Hall of Fame fighter, and the best of his generation. Joe's not even close.
Try thinking about that, but don't hurt yourself.
Oh, and nice try about Joe wanting to fight Roy years ago. Just like that long list of fights he wanted but never came off. The whole world was avoiding him while he sat in his backyard fighting nobodies huh?
You're a hypocrite, and not even smart enough to realize it.
Maybe by a handfull of people who don't deserve to be taken seriously. The point I was making is that any such notion is so ****** that bringing attention to it is almost just as bad.

didnt RJJ himself say recently that any body who says JC hasnt fought good opposition needs their heads tested or some thing ?? i swear i read that on the net somehwere, maybe east side. & its true. he beat all the best america had 2 offer (sheika, brewer, mitchell, lacy) & all the best britain had 2 offer (eubank, reid, starie, woodhall). sure, he didnt fight all the best europeans (collins, ottke) but thats through no fault of his own- they clearly ducked him,
seriously im not a JC fan, but JC haters mind boggle me
You jumped into this ******ed thread and started hating.
Find something more productive to do.
Look who's talking, dip****.
Roy jones was a great fighter and will overall be remembered as one, but he fought a lot of nobodies, and was unwilling to take them out like he could have in many cases, that's why he gets negative attention from some.

actually, Calzaghe was quoted as saying, just after Jones beat Ruiz, that he never had any intentions of fighting Jones and was glad that Jones moved all the way up to heavy because he would be terrified of him if they ever fought. He also pontificated that Jones was the best fighter he ever saw.
Now that Jones is washed up, his tune has predictably changed.
