Yes, it does, dumbass. The more popular you are, the more fans you can draw, the more money you can make. I thought even a twit like you would know that.

Also, I threw in the comment about inflation assuming that you would be intelligent enough to understand it. I obviously underestimated you.

          • Haymon/Floyd fanatics have been praying for HBO's demise for years now and I don't know why. You've heard them say SHO, with Haymon and Schaefer at the helm, would rule boxing and all that ****** crap... Did it happen? The numbers are not even close.

Then you see charts showing HBO is still the king. And they're not even trying hard to be on top.

At the end of the day, boxing is not HBO's flagship product. It's their regular proramming. People subscribe not because of boxing, which is just a bonus for their subscribers.

They're simply using Lee to get the belt back since they didn't want the Korobov fight. Is it a better fight in the end? Not really.. it's about the same. A winnable fight for Quillin, but he had to do a song and dance for Haymon, and somehow that's a good thing in your eyes.

Even with all these PBC time buy announcements, Chavez Jr. is still fighting on premium cable and Mayweather is still fighting on PPV.

Much of this CBS deal isn't about returning boxing to network tv, it's about building the SHO Boxing brand and marketing their Mayweather PPV to the public.

No it just means your entire argument of Haymon not working with anyone not signed under him went to complete crap. With that one fighter.

Shows he will work with others but of course you wont see it cause you are a "real fan"

                  • HBO's talent pool is limited but they do have a solid core with Canelo, Kovalev, GGG, and Top Rank that will keep them very competitive.

I didn't say Haymon wouldn't work with anyone, I said he blocks some of the best fights. The Quillin situation shows you that he'll block any fight if the situation doesn't suit. Your example further proves the control he has over his stable. You're too hung up on defending your guy. All I want is the best fights.
