I like HBO's product. I like filming between rounds. I like being able to hear fighters cuss. I want both to succeed. I just don't want HBO and Showtime to go away.

i'm trying but you're not listening. or not comprehending.
example:
say haymon can put on 10 good fights and 10 ok fights this year.
if he was just working with showtime.
i'm gonna get 20 good/ok fights on sho.
now if he's doing deals with nbc, spike, etc. too
showtime is not gonna get all those fights and have to fill the rest with lesser quality fights.
instead of 4 good fights on sho that night, i might get 2 good fights and 2 lesser ones.
While the PBC will be bringing boxing back to network television, it will also taking fighters (like Thurman, Guerrero, Garcia, Broner) off of SHO for significant periods of time.
That may not be a problem if you're a boxing fan, because you can see them on the PBC, and the match-making is solid, so far....but it may be a problem if you're paying for SHO, because what you're actually paying for in March and April is Gonzalez-Russell Jr. and JCC Jr.-Fonfara, not Thurman-Guerrero and Garcia-Peterson.
And while Thurman and Garcia may cycle back to SHO for their next fights, are they going to be taking on fighters equal to Guerrero and Peterson, respectively, or will they be taking on lesser opponents?Comment
