Better win: Mayweather over Canelo or Pacquiao over Bradley(2)?

Canelo would beat Bradley easily.

Can someone explain this dumb logic to me? If a fighter is bigger and would most likely beat that fighter because of size, it doesn't make it a better win. If you have to look at resume and P4P status.

Bradley might look like **** in his fights against Manny and JMM, he at least won rounds against ATG's (JMM not really but whatever, some people think he is.) Canelo didn't even win a minute of a round against Floyd, this topic ended when you compare Canelo to Bradley. You have one guy in Bradley who's fought everyone in any division he has been in compared to a guy who fought 1 JMW at JMW. And he's fought no MW's at MW, yet people are saying he should fight GGG and/or Cotto for the title. You all come of the same pool of DKSAB.

BTW: I know Cotto hadn't fought at MW at all when he faced Sergio, but he faced THE GUY in the division. Canelo having 3 fights at MW and fighting JMW is not something you can defend. Either fight MW at MW or JMW at JMW or don't be in that division. Canelo gets a pass for a being a white irish mexican, who would have guessed it.

Great. The topic is which win is better... a win over Bradley is better than a win over Canelo. Period, end of discussion. Doesn't matter how they looked, when or who they fought. Bradley is not a great fighter, but his resume and ability is better than Canelo's.

Resume wise, i agree with you. But considering Bradley got 2, possibly 3 gift decisions leading into his 2nd fight with Manny, how does that truly elevate the guy? This is actually a good topic. I think if Canelo gets more big fights, he will easily win this debate, but resume wise, its probably Bradley, even though he never makes for a good fight (except Provo).

Depends on what happens in the future. Canelo has since beaten down Angulo and beat Lara. That win looks even better now.

Pacquiao beating Bradley was a very good win though.

Canelo actually had open scoring in the Trout fight, he knew the fight was over after 8 rounds because of that and dirty scorecards. I don't even like Bradley but you seriously can't talk about gift decisions while backing Canelo. Bradley only got one decision and that was against Manny, he beat JMM clean, if you can't see that then I'm not sure why I'm continuing this conversation.

Floyd moved down to 152 to face Canelo, he won the title at 154.

Also, Canelo was at the bottom of the P4P list in a magazine owned by Floyds and Canelo's promoter at the time... Golden Boy. It also fits perfectly into the fact that Canelo was nothing more than a hypejob. Anyone voting Canelo that high after his best win being Trout, is a joke of a reporter.

yeah, I scored the fight very close, and i think I might have had Trout winning it once or twice (I watched the fight 4-5 times). Stop saying i am backing Canelo, cause thats far from the case. Provo fight was VERY disputable and alot on this board had bradley losing. JMM was not that clean a victory also, but thats neither here nor there. For the record, i had the first Manny fight 6-5-1 for Bradley. neither fighter did anything of significance. i watched it on fight night (drunk of course) and i saw a clear victory for Manny, but on 2nd and third watch I saw a close fight where there were 2-4 pick em rounds.

Make sure it's not a disputed, controversial win or against someone who was significantly over the hill
