JMM was top ten P4P and he just KO'D Pacquiao at welterweight which is his biggest win ever. Has Canelo beat anyone who was better than those wins before he fought mayweather? I think not.

I would say Bradley is the better win. He was a legitimate top 5 p4p'er after beating Marquez, was a two weight world champion, and p4p is more skillful and versatile than Canelo.

Canelo was still very green when he fought Floyd, and he didn't really have a great resume TBH. However, Canelo still has the potential to be a very great fighter if he goes on to beat guys like Cotto and Golovkin. So in the long run, Floyd's win over Canelo might look better depending on what Canelo does.

lol at people saying canelo. Manny vs bradley 2 was a 50/50 fight, many people thinking bradley would win, bradley was top5 p4p. Canelo barely beat Trout lol and fought floyd at catchweight. No competition, Bradley easily.

As for the actual thread I think Floyd's win is better because of the circumstances surrounding both fights as they happened. Correct me if I'm wrong but it was a consensus that Pacquiao was expected to win the fight.
While some people thought Floyd was never even going to fight Canelo.

In the Mayeather vs Canelo fight, we saw Floyd walking Canelo down at some point of the fight. That was something not many of us thought was gonna happen.

well whether anybody wants to admit it or not, before Floyd fought Canelo, that fight had overtaken the demand for Floyd v Manny. That's no lie, just go and check back through the forums. Many people said Floyd would never get in the ring with him. As soon as he does and wins, Canelo is green etc... Same goes for Floyd v Mosley after the Margarito fight. People said Floyd will never step foot in the ring with Mosley. He does, gets hurt, come back and beats him for the rest of the fight showing toughness.

People need to stick to their guns and give credit where it's due rather then changing their tune depending on the outcome of the fight.

I should add that Canelo and Bradley are two of the most overrated fighters in the sport today.

Pacquiao's win over Bradley. Bradley is a B class fighter, Canelo is C- class.

Canelo was a bigger, stronger, younger fighter then Floyd while Bradley was a feather fisted fighter with no real advantages over Manny.
because floyd fought a guy that some people said he wouldn't that makes canelo better than bradley? how does that work? some people said floyd was scared of baldomir so does that make baldomir better than bradley? also people said floyd was scared of margarito and he didn't fight margarito so that does make margarito better than canelo or does your theory only work in one direction? when you look at their resumes bradley is clearly the better fighter. he's had 7 fights against top guys and is 5-2 maybe 4-3 depending on the prov fight. canelo's fought 3 top guys and hasn't clearly won a fight. he's officially 2-1 but probably should be 1-2 or even 0-3.

Canelo's a better fighter than Bradley IMO so Canelo.

How many people actually thought Canelo was even going to win after that performance against Trout? I thought he would of needed a few more fights, but I guess the timing was just too right at the time.
