Sometimes, you have to stop watching the fight as a whole and start watching the fighter that's in question. Manny has been in question since the Rios fight. Is he still fast? Can he still punch? Does he still have legs? Killer instinct? On top of all of that, Manny is 36yrs old. You're not impressed with what he has done, since his comeback? Name another fighter who has beaten fighters of this caliber, since being KO'ed like that? Who on Floyd's resume is better than Bradley? Algeri? it's not that they are "so good", per say. It's their fighting style that makes them difficult outs for any fighter, including Floyd. He has never faced a fighter like Algeri or Bradley or Clottey or Cheeto. Get my point. He can't match Manny's versatile resume. It's why Manny is going to win the fight.

I never said anything about Manny. My whole post was in regards to Bradley. But to answer your question, no I am not impressed by beating Rios, I am definitely not impressed by beating a Friday night fighter, and I have stated through this whole thread what i though of Bradley and his in ring skills. So no those 3 victories are not impressive in my eyes. When you mention those 4 fighters in the manner that you do, especially Clottey and Margarito, you lose a lot of credibility dude.

My point is, Bradley is a B Level fighter. Rios and Algeri are C Level fighters. Manny dominated all three fighters. He is 36 yrs old and not fighting "plodders". He's fighting fighters who could've beaten him, if he was washed up. Do you understand this? Bradley is better than 3/4's of Floyd's ENTIRE resume. No? He's the real deal, whether or not you think so. The world disagrees with you. Floyd also disagrees with you, otherwise he would've tried to take his belt. No?
Algeri would give Floyd problems, just like Khan would. Why??? Because Floyd doesn't have legs. He would have a serious problem hitting those guys. You are being a biased fan, here. You're not impressed. Hahaha. Okay. Will you be impressed when Manny beats Floyd????

        • Doesn't make a difference, the overall resume, people Pacquiao has fought, and the way he won, puts him ahead of FLoyd.

Absolutely. Manny gets a lot of question marks and disrespect on this site. It's like people don't face reality on here. Manny was already a HOF'mer before he jumped up two weight divisions and fought Oscar. He carried the welterweight division for years while Floyd went into hiding. That is when he became a legend and ATG. Floyd ducked Cheeto, Clottey, Bradley, etc. Manny isn't afraid to lose. He's a fighter at heart. Floyd is just a HOF'mer and prize fighter. He's a coward who doesn't like to challenge himself in the ring. All he likes to do, is talk. Well, this time he has to back up all of those words he's been saying about Manny for all of these years. My guess is, Manny is going to give him a beating and rearrange his face, like he does everyone else. Floyd does not want this fight and that's what is taking so long to finalize it. He is too rich and doesn't throw enough punches to beat Manny and he knows this. Soon the entire world will know it as well.

Hmm no. Look I cant stand Mayweather but if you think that Algeri or Khan would give Floyd problems then you have your fan boy glasses on.Mayweather maybe wouldn't drop Algeri but he would still shut him out like Pac did.khan would be a KO win for Floyd. He cant hurt Floyd so Floyd would walk right through him for the KO win.I do think that Bradley was a better win than Canelo though.Floyd would have gotten better respect if he didn't weight drain the kid. Mayweather would have still beaten Canelo without making him drain but it wouldn't have been a shut out like it was.he would have maybe won 1 or 2 rounds but no more.Pac would KOed that version of Canelo that Floyd fought that night.

Off topic question. How do people give Floyd credit for weight draining Canelo but give Pac hell for weight drained Oscar? Both of those fights were pure unadulterated trash and an embarrassment to boxing.

Bradley's resume has been pretty great since I believe 2007 or 2008, but with that being said, has this guy truly ever looked good in a fight to you? At one point, the fighters that made for the worst fights to watch on tv were Bradley, Hopkins, Klitschko, and someone else i am missing. Bradley only good fight was Provo (not that Bradley looked good, it was just a good fight). I guess the most impressive win is probably peterson, i guess.
I agree with you, Bradley doesn't often look impressive.

When he tried to make a statement against Provo he almost got knocked out in round one.

With that said, the guy has a lot of heart, his somewhat ugly style shouldn't be a major factor in my opinion. Unlike Klit, Bradley constantly fought good/great opponents.

And to be fair , also Canelo rarely looks impressive , apart from Angulo who did he beat impressively?. Not Trout, surely not Lara.

I honestly think Klitschko does not get enough credit for his victories. He and his brother fought everyone ranked 1-5, and probably twice. Its not really his fault if the division is not considered great but he has fought all the top contenders, ALL OF THEM. Even though i had the trout fight very close, the thing that impressed me most about Canelo was he was slipping alot of punches. Best defensive effort he has had. Canelo was impressive to me when he was only on the mexican channels.

Good post. I agree. Oscar was also a zombie on fight night. Smh. It was an impressive display by Manny nonetheless. LoL.

                    • Floyd fans are funny. When Floyd fought Marquez all they said to make it a legit fight and even recently say that it was a very good win for Floyd was that Marquez was at the time P4P #2. Leaving out of the equation that at the time, Marquez was fighting at 130 the year before, had no fights at 140 and none at 147.

Now that we are discussing Bradley, Floyd fans got amnesia. If Floyd had fought Bradley they would be saying that we are all crazy. Bradley beat the only fighters to make the P4P list for over 400 weeks in Manny and Marquez. Bradley has been a top P4P fighter consistently for over 200 weeks. More than Floyd. Which consistent P4P fighter has Canelo beat? Crickets.

Now if we include resumes, Bradley has this one in the bag.
