Two of my very very favorite fighters. I just think GGG is a bit above Lemieux and I would give him the edge. Boy oh boy would it be fireworks.

We'll see after May.... if he still pops off about money, he better be fighting Canelo or cotto next (doubt the latter) because nobody else can get him more money

He is very dismissive about GGG moving up, which strikes me as odd considering how confident in GGG's abilities he claims to be.
Hmmm... regardless of what Sanchez wants or doesn't want, the Murray fight will remove the last relevent MW opponent of the Martinez era. After that there's only really prospects (amongst whom I include LeMieux) and guys who are either outgrowing or are willing to come up from 154 (which I suppose includes Cotto).

There's no real reason for GGG to avoid Lemieux tho. David's offense is decent and he impressed against Rosado but he simply doesn't have Golovkins ability to defend whilst keeping the pressure on and will be forced onto the back foot where he ain't so impressive. If the money's there, and it will be, this fight will probably be made - likely even towards the end of the year.

Like I said before,if a half dead and bloodied Gabriel rosado, was able to push back, and even wobble David, then GGG kills him.Davids going to come out swinging for the fences, and get caught by something big in the 1st 3 rounds, then its goodnight.

I think GGG's jab alone will give David trouble... probably won't go swinging for the fences coming in like everyone else

Seriously? He's won 2 belts at 160 and defended them 18 times, in total. He's chasing fights with the other belt holders at 160, and fighting Murray, his number one challenger at - 160 - next.

I'd say that's conclusive evidence that GGG wants to unify his own division, like he says.

You would need to be very biased indeed to view it in any other way.

Apparently, no middleweight can fight for the lineal MW title untill Cotto retires.

Otherwise, that would be SO unfair on poor little Miguel.

                    Please

I know you are dying for a good white fighter Lemieux not him. Lost to Rubio by ko then lost to alcine beat 7 bums then beat rosado coming off a few losses in a row shot not a middle ggg would kill him face first no d wild brawler so limited

If some how Lemieux gets shot at GGG bet the farm on GGG. Any fighter Rubio can ko ggg would ko faster break him down pick apart his face first no head movement no D style. Wild brawler ggg picks his spots then when ready ko
