I wonder if Sanchez will make up an excuse to avoid Lemieux if this fight becomes imminent? I have a feeling this dude likes to run his mouth about how GGG will murder everyone he faces but secretly wants 154 pounders or 168 pounders to either move up or down, respectively. He is very dismissive about GGG moving up, which strikes me as odd considering how confident in GGG's abilities he claims to be.

this would be a good fight while golovkin waits to see how the canelo-cotto situation resolves itself

What? If there's no unification, GGG and his team would take that fight in a second. Lemieux is good but GGG wouldn't avoid him. That notion of that is absurd. I hope it happens. I think it might take a million dollar purse for Lemieux for it to be on GGG's next hbo date which is may 16.

I think they'd take the opportunity to destroy him in another market

What a disgustingly exciting fight this would be. The two hardest punchers in their division trading all night(for as long as it lasts) with murderous intentions behind every punch... damn, hope this fight materializes. This is what boxing needs.

I'm not saying that GGG would avoid him, I actually think he would love to fight him but his trainer specifically. Sanchez talks a big game about GGG beating anyone from 154-168 but seems to focus on the 154 part of that statement. Lemieux, with the power that he brings to the table poses a serious threat which could undo a lot of momentum that GGG's team has invested years to create.

I would like to see GGG fight Lemieux next, that would be explosive for the first few rounds.

Any evidence to back that up?

                      Oh yeah, I forgot - it's a "secret". Lol.
