Maybe Dr Pepper is talking about all the soft touches GGG has taken along the way, even in title defenses. Go down the list sometime and see. And don't just say 'X was the #1 challenger', or that no one will fight him. Look at the challengers and the challenge they gave GGG. Rubio, Geale, Adama, Macklin, Ishida, Simon, Tapia... And that's just during title reign. GGG is great, yes, but I also think he was brought up very carefully.
Instead of Ishida, they originally tried Segio Mora and were shot down (later they tried getting Mora for sparring for Ishida and were shot down again). Ishida's last three fights were distance fights with Pirog (viewed as #2 at the time) and Paul Williams, along with the Kirkland fight. He was viewed as somebody durable and with a name for a low-budget show.
Instead of Proksa, Golovkin agreed to fight #2 MW - Pirog. Pirog pulled out with a career ending injury.
Instead of Rosado, Golovkin offered Edwin Rodriguez & Thomas Oosthuzien $500k to face him at a catch-weight of 166lbs. Rodriguez rejected it and Oosthuizen wanted more money. Golovkin's team went with Rosado for $200k after they decided Fernando Guerrero wouldn't be a tough enough test (Quillin quickly took him instead).
With Tapia, Golovkin was fighting w/o a promoter and tv rights as he was in arbitration with Universum. He made numerous attempts during this time at trying to fight Zbik in Germany when he was the WBC champ, as well as Sturm & N'Dam when they shared the WBA title with him.
Loeffler made an offer to DiBella to have Golovkin go to Argentina to fight Martinez instead of Murray or Spada and Lou said no way.
Matched up carefully is what Peter Quillin is all about. Fighting Brinkley, McKewan, Wright, and Rosado all coming off hard ass losses. And fighting Guerrero who proven to be a glass chin and rejecting a fight with Macklin to fight a semi-retired Konecny who had vision issues.Comment

Confused
Are you guys saying ggg takes on and destroys all comers with through not his fault some soft touches along all these defenses or are you saying there is one middle he has ducked if so name him push for fight watch ggg breakem downComment
-
Frauds
Name the middle who offered fair $ and has called out GGG. You can't because cotto at the time Martinez quillin Jacobs all have never opened their mouths and called him out. I can name many who have done that to Floyd but you all b&$wComment

So ggg's defenses are like joe Louis bum of the month club, Holmes bum of the month club, ali bum of the month club Tyson bum of the month club they didn't fight the beasts that Mayweather does dictating short notice, pay, and weight okComment

It would be good if David was to grab the IBF strap before facing GGG. Would make for a huge fight in Canada.
Brought up carefully?! All those guys you listed were the best possible opponents for that time.

I also think if he wins, he won't fight GGG off the bat, but we'll see what GBP does.
GGG will be more than likely to give a fair split and travel overComment
