The only way for Floyd Maywather Jr to get a NON BIAS/HATRED opinion from the fans and media is IF he loses. Plain and simple. MOST people are just sick and tired of seeing Floyd win every single damn time. It's been going on since 1996 and people had have enough. It's not easy to relate to a guy that wins so damn much. It happened to Roy Jones Jr back in the day, people used to sht on him for winning too much. It all changed when Roy took his first L. Jim Lampley even said it on an HBO broadcast...people started liking Roy more after seeing him lose for the first time.

Maybe you don't want to accept it but your most DARK TWISTED FANTASY is to see Floyd coming up as the UNDERDOG for the first time ever in a fight.

Ask yourself this, did people stop watching SRL or Roy after they lost?

This guy Floyd has beaten all odds...i remember once Larry Merchant said on a an HBO broadcast that Floyd would never reach Oscar De La Hoya status and that he would never be the highest paid boxer...Bob Arum too...Floyd got angry once at Bob because there where Britney Spears billboard all over the place during a Floyd fight...Arum said that Floyd wasn't a star and that he was just crazy...fast forward to 2014 and Bob Arum is btching because there are Floyd billboards all over the place during a Manny Pacquiao fight...KARMA came to fck everyone in the ass

I don't think it matters at this point. He's big enough where even when he does lose he will still be one of the biggest names around that people recognize.

False. People would still watch him, heck i'll still watch him even if he loses but his popularity to sell fights would probably be a lot less than what he is earning now, being the best boxer on the planet, P4P King, undefeated and so on.

But I highly doubt it that he would lose. He has too much pride, he has to maintain that celebrity undefeated status, on top of that he's a great technician and shows a lot of art in his boxing. Mayweather sleeps, breathes boxing since the day he was birthed into this world. There is no one that could beat him, the man is too smart in and out of the ring.

If he was to lose would anyone bother watching him anymore? I think a lot of people watch to see him lose and once that happens all the intrigue will be gone...
Just a random thought idk...that's why that zero is so important to him...
You are absolutely correct. I believe once he starts losing boxing fans and Floyd haters alike would suddenly lose interest in him. Their frustration and resentment toward Mayweather; Especially the Pac fans stem from the fact that he is currently undefeated as they wish him so badly to lose.

You really think a guy that is hated so much would would instantly lose interest after losing??? NAh
