Why wouldn't I watch how someone who calls himself TBE comes after a loss?

All the greats have lost and come back with great/honorable wins. No reason Floyd can't do the same.

I agree that it depends on how he loses and also how he handles the loss. Once that's out the way, then I'm pretty sure a rematch of whoever he loses to will exceed interest of the first.

False. He will be obviously less interesting and will sell less but the hype doesn't vanish from a minute to the other. May has 9 million facebook fans that won't appear just becausea loss. The buyerof his PPV's are mostly people who want to see him lose but not all of them. Anyway... I think if he loses he will either retire or if not he will only fight a rematch with the man who have beat him and the rematch would definitely sell well. May has 2-3 fights left depends on if he loses or not on his next fight so I don't think that we will ever find out if he will be way less interesting after a loss or not.

I think I should have also said "casual" fans as well...most of us watch every big fight anyway so it's probably going to be more on the side of yes, we will continue to watch but I'm thinking more on the whole casual fan who tunes in thinking he will see Floyd finally lose....

He's got 2 fights left so if he loses the 1st you there's 1 fight left that people may not watch... If he loses the 2nd of the 2 well then...... You ask this like he has 20 fights left.

I'm no fan but boxing will be less colourful without him in it. He's set a ****ing awful precedent of ducking though. On a par with Roy Jones levels of ducking.

Saying that, I agree he won't lose a fight before he retires lol.....
You can't compare Tyson to Floyd. Tyson had a horrible team that robbed him blind and had him messed up inside. Floyd has the best team in boxing. Tyson didn't train like he was the best fighter in the world. Floyd lives in the gym during training camp. I could go on but you get the point.

He's 38 really soon AND his contract is about up. You may get 1 additional fight out of him.
